Scan date of 21/08.
Just rang and my claim hasn't been allocated a desk yet and still in the holding queue 🙄 ridiculous when September's are getting decisions. She told me another 2/3 weeks at minimum.

Same. Called first thing. Scan date 18/8. I was told 2.5 weeks ago that it will go to cm in the next day or two. Lady on the phone said the same thing ... Still in queue, but any day now 🙄

LM15 · 29/12/2023 09:14

I’m also 18/8 and not heard anything yet 🙄😩

RaychieBee · 29/12/2023 09:14

@Calypsomum i was told 2 weeks ago it was about to go on a desk and obvs it hasn't 😂 she said it depends on the case manager, some work overtime and get through quickly and mine isn't 😂
She said the case manager is still working on the beginning of August 🙄

Scan date 23/08.
I was told the same thing yesterday, another 2/3 weeks to wait as it’s taking up to 21 weeks. We’ll have the whole new year weekend to wait as well now which will add time on 😒.

Which explains why they're not being done in order. Ours are probably sat on the same desk 🙄

RaychieBee · 29/12/2023 09:20

@funinthesun19 it needs to be digitalised honestly.
woman over phone said they should reach desks by 17weeks and a decision in 2weeks. I said I'm nearly at 19 weeks and not even allocated and All she could do was apologise 😂
It's just a joke now. I already know I'm gunna be declined and apparently MR are taking upto 10weeks aswell 😓

Mumof6boys1girl · 29/12/2023 09:21

Scan date 17/08 heard nothing bit the bullet on phone to them now

RaychieBee · 29/12/2023 09:23

I still have hope as there was a woman on a FB group who rang up to be told it wasn't on a desk yet and would be another few weeks and 3/4hours later she received a text that she had been awarded.

Rellz · 29/12/2023 09:25

I’m 01/09 also fingers crossed

Moonandstars83 · 29/12/2023 09:46

After being up all night with my 8yr old DS I found the courage to call.. I got cut off after sitting and listening to the garble about not calling before 20 weeks. I probably would have just cried if I had got through to them. He's broken his bed, smashed the computer screen, eaten me out of house and home and I'm sat here with bruises whilst he now naps on the sofa..
Only evidence we sent were referral forms for SALT and Neurodevelepment assessment. School have been great documenting everything so sent copies of those. But waiting list for assessments here are 18months to 2 years!
If only I could send videos of what day to day life is really like 😔
Scan date7/9

Ellmay1820 · 29/12/2023 09:46

One of my children have been awarded, woke up to some money in the bank from dla. Scan date 17.08, about to ring to see where my other child's claim is as both have same scan date but its definitely only one payment for one of them. @Mumof6boys1girl I think you have the same scan date as me just to update you babe!
Thank you for everyone's help on here, you've all kept me sane in this long wait xx

Mumof6boys1girl · 29/12/2023 09:57

@Ellmay1820 still on hold had enough now son. has spinal surgery in Jan just wanna know now

Ellmay1820 · 29/12/2023 10:03

@Mumof6boys1girl aw gosh, I hope all goes well with his surgery. Its not on really I get it can't be helped sometimes but I was getting so fed up of seeing people be awarded with dates after us. My OH noticed this last week how anxious and off I've been, now I'm just hoping my other child hasn't been declined. I really hope they get it sorted quick for you and your son gets what he's entitled to xx

2010crazyboymum · 29/12/2023 10:24

@RaychieBee we're all in the same pile.. In a sack in the corner .. while the dms swanning in sunshine somewhere.

Mumof6boys1girl · 29/12/2023 10:37

Finally got through now waiting for her to talk to manager

Mumof6boys1girl · 29/12/2023 10:39

It's with case manager I should here by week 20 now at 19 weeks 1 day

Luevzamum · 29/12/2023 11:04

@Moonandstars83 i hope your ok. Just read your post and I know how you feel. My sons violent too and I’m on my 5th tv in the last 2 years. He smashed his mouse up (pc mouse) Christmas Day morning and luckily I had a new one in (as he’s broken loads) and by Christmas Day night that was broke too. Just wanted let you know you’re not alone going through this sort of thing. And just to let you know your doing a great job and not to give up getting him the support he needs x

Paige36 · 29/12/2023 12:14

Just had a text to say my daughter qualifies😭😭😭 absolutely over the moon for my little girl, this will change her life massively. Scan date 21/08

OhFFS! · 29/12/2023 12:14

So pleased for you. The sense of relief when you get that confirmation is incredible

Homesweethome93 · 29/12/2023 12:17

Anyone done any renewals or coc? I’ve been on hold for over 2 hours this morning to be told a load of crap that didn’t make any sense and he didn’t sound like he knew what he was on about, he told me it’s 25 weeks for coc and 14 weeks for renewal, last time I called about a month ago I was told renewals get seen before cut off dates and there’s a 23 week for coc ? My coc is 17/08 and renewal date is 12/12 (the dates they received both forms ) very confused.

Linacre96 · 29/12/2023 12:30

@Paige36 well done! I’m hoping mine won’t be long then maybe another week x

Paige36 · 29/12/2023 12:42

@OhFFS! thank you, it really is a huge relief

Paige36 · 29/12/2023 12:43

@Linacre96 thank you hun, I haven’t called at all because it seems they just fob you off with inaccurate information! I hope you hear soon, good luck x

OhFFS! · 29/12/2023 12:46

The thing I find ridiculous is that our daughter's claim was awarded for 12 years and have just renewed it for a further 2.5 years (17th birthday). Our son who has more issues got 2 years before formal diagnosis and we have since renewed post diagnosis ( ASD,ADHD) and has got a further 3 years, so we will need to keep reapplying. Both have lifetime conditions yet such different processes.
