I'm currently on hold for the 2nd time. Currently at an hour. Hoping I don't get hung up on again 🤞
@HKiSm ask for a reconsideration and do go to a decision manager as this was the earliest time you could have reported as its only just been accepted

@RaychieBee I wonder if my son will get anything from tax credits as he is my 3rd and born after 2017 so I'm not sure if he will be entitled if it's a top up thing as he isn't entitled to tax credits, but I will still phone them as they have his details but don't get anything for him.

@Jmam I have no idea sorry about the 3rd child. I've just gone onto tax credits and reported that he's now in receipt of DLA and see what happens 🤷

I updated UC yesterday apparently their waiting for DLA to confirm and then I suppose go to a dm to consider etc. hoping this process isn't as long 😂

Congratulations to everyone getting awards, I was going to ring but my son is now in hospital after been sick and stuff for over 5 days

@Rae89xx we have asked for MR regarding HRM under SMI as can evidence point by point in flow chart but they said I didn’t evidence enough on behavioural or severity of impairment even though we have a diagnosis of ASD, GDD and Hypermobility. Also recent assessment shows development at 18 months and our child is 4 x

My son got declined on the 20th dec, I’m on phone to them now to look again, how long does that take, thank you

Just got off phone scan date 18/8 it’s with a case manager but no decision made yet, told us that they have only just come back from leave so we should hear soon and receive a text

Hopefully they sort it for you quick, well alot quicker than waiting to be awarded lol

I've been watching these threads for a while. Thanks to everyone for helping me keep updated, it's definitely helped with the anxiety.
My scan date is 24/08 and I called for the first time today for an update.
It's currently with a decision maker 🤞 so hopefully not long now but I'm worried it will be a no 😬 My 11 year old is newly diagnosed ASD x

@Jmam as far as I’m aware you will get the disabled element just not the child element.. that’s the way it reads on their website anyway. I hope that is the case as my dla claim is for my 3rd child too

Mines 11/08! Been waiting 21 weeks today, I rang this morning to be told the same info I got the time before last when I rang lol. They really do tell you anything! The only thing I can say is they have told me an award is likely but doesn’t ease the anxiety at all as I don’t know rates etc. I’ve double checked on google now and it does say on the turn2us website you’d get the disabled child element for the third child.. seems pretty legit to me. Fingers crossed we all hear soon!!

Did you only find out by ringing? Am scared this is what is going to happen with my son, so I may be sat here waiting and he as been declined. Not rang up yet through out the claim and don't really want to by the horror stories from others ringing and the rudeness plus false hopes etc x

@Kezzia87 I feel like the people who answer the phone just can't be bothered, I've rang twice since I sent form off once a week after sending it just to make sure they had got it and once on 22nd Dec the woman on the phone was so rude to me.

I hope you get your award asap I don't understand why they seem to be leaving dates behind. Can you let me know when you've been awarded what happens with tax credits please

Just spoke to a lovely lady called Caroline was super helpful! my MR is currently at 5 weeks she advised its now taking up to 7 weeks. In addition to this she also advised (so everyone is aware) if you dont get a text up date you will more then likely see the money in your bank before receiving a letter due to short staff at the post office. hope this helps? good luck everyone xx
