He also hung up on me asking if that was all 😂

I'm with a case manager now so hopefully not too much longer 🤞

Linacre96 · 05/01/2024 09:17

I’m 01/09 I so wanna ring again see if it’s been sent to a DM but I only rang other day 😐

RaychieBee · 05/01/2024 09:20

When I rang I asked for an update and he said mine went on a desk on Tuesday. I asked about the dates that are being done such as September and October and that it was really disheartening to see.
He said 'I can honestly tell you that no September's dates are being awarded' I said well they have and there's 100s of people saying they have received backpay, texts and decisions ect. He said 'they go by scan date and they are still in August and no September's dates and definitely not October's are being looked at so you should stop reading things you see'
I said oh are they all lying and he said 'I can tell you now that we are not acknowledging that any September dates have had decisions, if that is all, goodbye' and hung up 😂😂😂😂

Not acknowledging 🤦😂

Linacre96 · 05/01/2024 09:26

@RaychieBee he sounds like he really doesn’t like his job 🤣🤷‍♀️well least you know it’s with a DM now hopefully isn’t long for a decision

Jmam · 05/01/2024 09:26

@Kezzia87 thankyou

Momof2Life · 05/01/2024 09:29

Just had the RUDEST woman YVONNE who said she's going to tell me exactly what her colleague told me when I called last - I said I don't need you to tell me when I called last - I can call as many times as I like I'm WAITING on a claim for a disabled child that needs support. So I will continue to call until a decisions made. She didn't say anything and sounded sheepish we get warned about being polite to them it's a two way street x

RaychieBee · 05/01/2024 09:31

@Linacre96 honestly I couldn't believe it 😂 the first rude person I've had! Just denying and calling everyone liars 😂
@mumoftwoxxx godsake, what does it matter how many times we call 🙄 we need to know so we can do MRs or if we are lucky enough to be accepted, use the money on the kids that need it!

Tmpoftwo · 05/01/2024 09:36

Scan date 21/08/2023
Phoned this morning and got told my child has been awarded.

Lauza35 · 05/01/2024 09:36

I'm quite shocked with the backlog from it all when we first claimed for my son oh gosh 2013 I would say they were done within 8 weeks.
And with what I've read about how many call handlers speak is shocking 😳
Call as many times I say, thing is its their job to answer phones and queries more so when some claimants have been waiting a ridiculous amount of time.

RaychieBee · 05/01/2024 09:40

I'VE JUST GOT AWARDED OMG

Linacre96 · 05/01/2024 09:40

@RaychieBee Yaaaaaaay!!!! Get ringing girl well done! X

RaychieBee · 05/01/2024 09:43

I'm gunna ring when I've dropped my kid off at holiday camp 😂 like I wasn't expecting it. I was expecting an MR in all honestly. I'm so happy 😂

Ash894 · 05/01/2024 09:43

My friend works for them but doing pip claims, when we was talking about what area we live in on here and whether it makes a difference I asked her and she said 'no, it's done in date order' she also said its done off a computer not by paper. Surely if its done by computer they would go on date order. I'm still on the fence what to believe 😂

Mamatoooo4 · 05/01/2024 09:44

Congratulations @rachiebee

Rellz · 05/01/2024 09:45

Super annoyed waited 45 mins on hold and then get a work call, I answer and then the DWP workers picks up my call so I had no choice but to put the phone down on him and now I have to start the whole process again, the work call was not even important eye roll

Minewasthesame · 05/01/2024 09:45

Mine would be received no later than 04/09 I did have a missed call from a mobile number I didn’t recognise yesterday?

Paige36 · 05/01/2024 09:51

@RaychieBee congratulations!! So happy for you🥰

Dolliesmama · 05/01/2024 09:53

@RaychieBee ah fantastic congratulations x
I had a missed call from them does anyone know why they'd be calling? I'm on hold now not had a text or anything just 2 missed calls last night 24/8 thanks x

Ash894 · 05/01/2024 09:54

What number do they ring off? X

Dolliesmama · 05/01/2024 09:55

0800 023 2635

Ash894 · 05/01/2024 09:56

Thanks I might save it just incase they ring me I never answer calls from random numbers

Lauza35 · 05/01/2024 09:57

Mine was 0800 072 0161

Dolliesmama · 05/01/2024 09:58

I'm gutted I missed it I had more info to tell the dm and I don't think the phone handlers will put me through when they answer still on hold, yeah worth saving it so you know its not a sales call 👍

Kezzia87 · 05/01/2024 10:13

@RaychieBee arrrrr yay! Congrats!! So glad it’s over for you! Hopefully I won’t be long now

RaychieBee · 05/01/2024 10:18

Thank you guys 🥰
I'm so praying for all of you to get a decision soon.
My scan date was 21/08 if that helps anyone.

@Rellz omg what a ball ache 🤦
I'm currently on hold to find out what rates and when it was backdated too so I can update tax credits :)

It's my sons birthday in 3 weeks so I can get him the only thing he's asked for since it was released (meta quest 3) 😂
