DLA wait times part 25

Continuing on from part 24...😊

I had my second text today but I can’t remember my scan date, late August/early September I think as I calculated my decision would be due this month. Plan to get this one wrapped and then apply for child no.2 who is a much vaguer undiagnosed case (so far).

I always feel FB gets early decisions and we never do! That's my scan date as well...

Do I bother ringing today or not 🤔😂

I was thinking the same thing, phoned on Tuesday and was told it was with DM and should hear some time this week but I think it will be declined as I only sent ehcp.

@Minewasthesame if you only received your second text yesterday I think your scan date would be further along. My scan date was 21/08 and my 2nd text was in November x

My sons scan date is 1/9. I've not heard anything yet, but I do think it should go in order. Good luck to everyone today, hope you get a positive outcome.

Called yesterday they said 21 weeks for coc. Is that 21 weeks total or until it is looked at?

This is a long one, my son was on HRC and HRM, he went into a foster placement, it initially broke down and he went to a residential placement on a rehab to home basis (he is home now) he was still getting his DLA paid into his bank account until residential care so we've had to put through basically what's classed as a new claim as he had not recieved anything for 6 months due to previous foster carers closing his claim. Just wondering if they will also use his old evidence aswell as new evidence or would it be based solely on the new evidence 🤔 scan date wasn't until 14/11 so expecting a very long wait, but a lady called me yesterday morning at 8.15 and she said its a complex case and now it's being registered on system. What's the difference between scan date and being registered on system?

@Paige36 im going to. Next time I can phone will be next Thursday. As of Tuesday it still wasn't on a desk but I'm going to ask why September and October are getting decisions and August's are still not on a desk 🤦😂

Hi I called yesterday said they are on 17th aug for coc, and it’s 21 weeks from when they received it but I wouldn’t listen to that I think they just tell u what ever they want, in the 17th for coc and it’s not even with a case worker yet nor DM still in holding que.

@RaychieBee I’m ringing this morning and I only rang on Wednesday too! I’ve had enough now so I’m just going to pester them

8 weeks in total for the decision from my MR scan date

@Lauza35 How odd, I had a missed call yesterday of unknown no message left, usually if it’s anything medical related they always leave a message to say. Now seeing you’re post we have similar dates (scan date 22nd November) xx

Can someone possibly enlighten me to what COC stands for please

Hey, mine was an actual 0800 number, lucky I answered to be honest thought it was a scam company at first or something 🤦‍♀️🤣 and at 8.15 🤯
I just dont understand scan and register on system 😕 I thought its registered on system when it's scanned?x

Wellllll everyone on here and Facebook with a scan date of September or October and have had decisions are all liars and they're done on scan date order 👌😂

Finished on the phone.. no news for me yet! 21 weeks today since scan and counting.. I hope everyone gets more news than I did today

I rang Tuesday and was told it still hadnt been sent to a dm and to give it a couple weeks. Rang yesterday and it was with a dm. Now just the wait of how long it will take now its with a dm

No letters/texts absolutely no acknowledgement whatsoever until thay call yesterday morning!.. No I thought it was 9am as that's the time they open for calls unless maybe 8am start for them and 9am phone lines open for us? I wish I had asked about the difference now but I was trying to get ready for work aswell x

Morning all, hope more good news comes today! Random question, so when awarded and backpay is issued, is the day it's issued classed as 1 working day? Or would it be the next day? I thought possibly the day as it was early? My bank don't show pending payments lol. Also do you count 4 weeks from the award date for first actual payment moving forward? I rarely get post these days 🙄 assuming it will be ages before I get the award letter. X
