@Keddie fingers crossed for you. Our date is November 23rd and was told this morning that it is still in holding queue and will hopefully be looked at by end of the month 😩

Ash894 · 04/01/2024 17:03

Keddie · 04/01/2024 17:03

Willowblake · 04/01/2024 17:45

@Liddyj ahh glad you managed to get through to them, shame they couldn't of mentioned anything to you though....my scan date is 1/8 currently at 22 weeks, still with a decision maker 😒

PurplePuxie · 04/01/2024 17:52

Hi, hoping someone in the know can help. I received the letter confirming DLA award for my daughter. she has been awarded for a period just short of 5 years, the period ends day before her 17th birthday. Wouldn’t she have to do a change to PIP before that - I.e. once she is 16?
Thanks!

Toni1228 · 04/01/2024 17:59

@PurplePuxie from what I gathered they send u a form shortly before their 16th birthday and it will carry on until pip has made a decision x

Liddyj · 04/01/2024 18:00

@Willowblake oh wow! Maybe put a complaint in see if that will help it’s not fair people from September are being accepted when you’ve been waiting that long x

Dolliesmama · 04/01/2024 18:05

I've just had 2 missed calls from a decision maker as I was driving can't get back through to them. X

funinthesun19 · 04/01/2024 18:28

Aww that’s brilliant @Kirsty111! I remember speaking to you a few weeks ago. So happy for you and your DD 😊 xx

HKiSm · 04/01/2024 20:16

I know this has been asked a few times so apologise in advance.
been told today my daughter qualifies for dla, when it comes to UC what do I do?
I work part time so I can care for her but I’ve seen people say with the carers bit you lose out? But one carers thing you don’t?
Sorry if I sound clueless (I am!!)

Paige36 · 04/01/2024 21:16

@HKiSm So there’s carers allowance and carers element. Carers allowance is taken from UC £ for £ and you can only qualify for carers if you earn £139/week or less. Carers element is on UC and you will qualify for that on top of your UC

HKiSm · 04/01/2024 21:18

Thank you so much!

Sunshinesun · 04/01/2024 22:24

Just seen on FB that someone got awarded today with a scan date of 25th September so that’s 14 weeks for a new claim.

My scan date is 13th September (New claim)

Anyone else from September had an outcome? #Confused Xx

RaychieBee · 04/01/2024 22:33

@Sunshinesun weve seen a few September's and an October which is really annoying all us August claims 😂 I might make a complaint tomorrow tbh. It's not on that there's still someone from the 1st of August still waiting but end of September's are getting decisions. And that's just the people that have posted to inform other people that they've got a decision.

Tammy198311 · 04/01/2024 22:51

Hi my scan date is 11th sep not with decision maker yet was told upto 20 weeks

Moominandpud · 04/01/2024 23:21

@Sunshinesun Saw that as well . They are so many random dates call handlers have no idea and given different time scales feel bad for the people still in August
