Still waiting from 11/08 here! Claims been with DM for almost 4 weeks so far

Babzie · 04/01/2024 00:51

28/8 nothing as of yet, so happy to see people are being rewarded quickly but also very disheartened that there seems to be a few past my date as well surely its only right to go in date order and correspond each other how some dm are on seo while others are stuck in middle of aug is wrong!
Hoping us aug lot get are answers soon,
Anyone have the same date or pretty close to mine?

Ash894 · 04/01/2024 01:35

@Babzie I'm 25/08. Very fed up of the wait x

RaychieBee · 04/01/2024 07:41

@Kezzia87 wow 11/08 is a long time!

logangracie93 · 04/01/2024 08:44

@Nanto4 woke up to it pending in my bank 😭😭 no text or anything but £3350 sat there dwp dla I could actually cry 😭😭
I wasn't expecting that much at all so it's just a waiting game now for the letter to see what the rates are but my god 😭 have you heard yet hun?

Ash894 · 04/01/2024 08:50

@logangracie93 congratulations that's amazing. What's your scan date? X

logangracie93 · 04/01/2024 08:57

@Ash894 14/8 20 week 3 days wait 😭😭 thank you I honestly thought he would be declined. I hope everyone gets an answer soon, the wait is horrible 😢 x

2010crazyboymum · 04/01/2024 09:02

@logangracie93 what was the date you phoned for the forms? That's where its backdated to if forms were returned in time

2010crazyboymum · 04/01/2024 09:05

@logangracie93. Take your total (X) minus £10 (Christmas bonus) and divide the remaining by the amount of weeks since you called for the forms...
Hopefully it corresponds to one of these figures.

The £95.60 was bad maths and the correct figure is £95.

@Babzie 31/08 here - saw someone on FB with 31/08 awarded yesterday

Mumof6boys1girl · 04/01/2024 09:23

Currently on phone 20 weeks today

HKiSm · 04/01/2024 09:26

24:8 - had a text this morning to say my daughter qualifies!! Over the moon!

logangracie93 · 04/01/2024 09:27

@2010crazyboymum backdated to 5th July, so 26 weeks I think.
Hrc Lrm according to that which if its the case I'm genuinely shocked, I didn't expect any sort of mobility 😭😭😭

Jmam · 04/01/2024 09:29

@Babzie I'm 31/8 so a couple days behind you.

Totally agree think the other cm/dm should help that others that are so far behind so that all the dates are done and not left miles behind

ASDMammy3418 · 04/01/2024 09:33

Can I just check if been told my claim is with CM does it have to go to DM after? First time claiming so not sure of the process.

Scan Date 21/08

RachelWa · 04/01/2024 09:34

It ran out in February, but I did the form in august so would be classed as new?

2010crazyboymum · 04/01/2024 09:37

My gosh.. so I rang them and 1 the guy had a right Bee in his Bonnet he was soo grumpy. And 2 I swear he was trying yo get me to fail security questions just so he didn't have to process my queries.
Q1.. what was my address 12 years ago!
Q2.. what month did I sign his dla application form.
I gave the address i wrote on the form where I am now .. wrong... he wanted my previous one.

Nanto4 · 04/01/2024 09:41

@logangracie93 im so pleased for you it’s been a very long wait!!

mumoftwoxxx · 04/01/2024 09:42

I called this morning about my MR for my son and now been told I should get a decision by the end of the month. Initially told 3-4 weeks. MR submitted 23rd November for anyone waiting

2010crazyboymum · 04/01/2024 09:49

I always thought a CM and DM both did decision making. You’ve got me wondering now lol.

RaychieBee · 04/01/2024 10:10

I'm pretty sure a case manager/decision maker are the same. It's just different words that people use :)

LM15 · 04/01/2024 10:13

Just a quick question if I can please because this is all new to me. I’m waiting to hear about my son’s new claim. He won’t be entitled to LRM yet as he is 4, but he turns 5 on the 15th Feb so in a couple of weeks. So I’m just wondering how I would go about applying for the mobility side of things when he does turn 5? Will it be a complete new claim again or is it something I can apply for to add on with still waiting to hear about this one? Also how do you apply for a MR should this need to happen? Thankyou x
