Just seen someone awarded today scan date 24/08

Is there anyone still waiting from before 24/8? Just wondering if they are doing that week now and they are nearing the end of it, or if the dates are still all over the place?

I’m 23/08. Currently with a DM so hoping to hear by Friday!

@Jmam yes I'm scan date 17/08 not heard

@Jmam 21/08 been told another 3 weeks before it's on a desk and 2 weeks for a decision. My CM is very slow. Just my luck.

I'm 24/8 not heard a thing yet.

@RaychieBee fingers crossed the person on the phone was just putting you off calling by giving you the worst case scenario with dates and that you get answers sooner than that 🤞

My scan date 31/8 so looks like I have quite a while before any news.

Fingers crossed everyone gets the answers they are expecting for their child/children. 🤞

@Jmam i wish it were the case but that's the 3rd time calling and all have said th same that the CM is slow and still doing the beginning of August dates 😂

How far do payments get backdated to?

@RaychieBee that's so bad! Can't believe that, why can't another cm help them catch up so that later dates don't get awarded before dates that have been waiting longer. Need to change the system a bit I think.

Just wondering if anyone can help me please! DS was awarded on the 14th of December. On the 18th I phoned them up to ask a question and the woman I spoke to apologised as she could see the back payment hadn’t been processed when it should have. So she did it over the phone there and then and I got the payment on the 29th. Does anybody know when I’ll get the first payment? I know it’s every 4 weeks but with the back payment being messed up I’m not sure when I’m counting the 4 weeks from

@cocoapple DLA is paid on Wednesday’s so I would assume you’d receive your next payment on the 10th and it should still go on the original date otherwise you’ve lost out on money. If it isn’t paid on the 10th I’d probably contact them and ask so you’re not losing anything

18/8 haven’t phoned up yet going to do it tomorrow, haven’t had a text or letter yet either. Last time I phoned two weeks ago it was still waiting to go to a dm.

I get dla on a Tuesday and have done for the last 3 years I don’t understand why it says Wednesday even on the automated message on phone it says that

@Homesweethome93 oh that is strange, it even says it online as well. I can’t comment as I haven’t had a first payment yet just went off what I saw

I receive DLA on a Tuesday too. My DS was first awarded in 2017, and his payments have always been on a Tuesday. It might be Tuesday or Wednesday depending on NI number maybe.

02/10/23 is October!

think it’s classed as a new claim as my sons had run out, and I wasn’t got to re apply but then he started at a SEN school so i re did it.

When did it run out? Was it a renewal ?
