Laurahansom28 · 20/12/2023 16:43

Laurahansom28 · 20/12/2023 16:44

dibley27 · 20/12/2023 17:05

Just been awarded today! Our claim date was 23rd August and I had a text on 10th October and 11th November :-D

Tmpoftwo · 20/12/2023 17:22

I have the same dates as you and been told the middle of January.

doingmybest23 · 20/12/2023 17:33

15/8 been told another 3 weeks told her other people getting there’s sorted with a date after mine she stated it depends what part of the country they in xx

logangracie93 · 20/12/2023 17:47

@doingmybest23 I've heard this, different parts of the country apparently get decisions faster, however true it is I don't know but I'm really sick of waiting now. I'm 14/8 and still not heard a thing 😩

Terrie1100 · 20/12/2023 17:47

I did the chance of caring for someone and my little ones disability element part, and messaged on my journal about his dla award. That was last Wednesday, I've not heard nothing about a decision or if its gone to DM yet.

Looloo12332 · 20/12/2023 18:00

They told me mine be in tomorrow xx

Ash894 · 20/12/2023 18:05

@doingmybest23 I'm 25/08 but told January. I've not heard this before, I'm Greater Manchester

Kiddiewinks5 · 20/12/2023 18:05

Hi been following (a while lol, first comment) I’m also waiting. Scan date 23/8 last text 1/11 I haven’t called I just can’t. It’s such a long process isn’t it. My daughter is epileptic, her medication has gone up since sent claim (due to more seizures) also put her on vit D long term too. I haven't mentioned this to them as I feel it will prolong it further I’d rather wait, I sent a lot of evidence. She was on dla when she was a baby and it only took a few weeks then. (Her seizures stopped for few years so I didn’t carry the claim on, but seizures have returned) my other younger daughter is ASD (just started school) I haven’t put a claim in yet as waiting for this one is stressful enough. x good luck everyone. x

Tmpoftwo · 20/12/2023 17:22

I have the same dates as you and been told the middle of January.

I'm the 18/8 and been told mid January too. Seems a bit odd

Casslou22 · 20/12/2023 18:27

@cocoapple they told me on the phone the payments are going in Friday 22nd .. .if that helps you was a day earlier then me so your will prob be tomorrow

doingmybest23 · 20/12/2023 18:33

@logangracie93 im northeast xx

doingmybest23 · 20/12/2023 18:33

@Ash135 im northeast

2010crazyboymum · 20/12/2023 18:41

I'm 21/08. Least we know we're in the current bubble of dates

logangracie93 · 20/12/2023 18:45

@doingmybest23 I'm sheffield so is that classed as northeast too? maybe its done off the distance from their offices? I was told to expect a decision between Christmas and New Year 🤯 but there's so many people getting decisions with dates same or after it's driving me mad now

Ash894 · 20/12/2023 18:51

You'd think they'd just go in a pile as they receive them and they work from the top down the stack. It sounds like they get a pile each, maybe that explains why different dates are being done and it depends how fast that DM works through their pile

2010crazyboymum · 20/12/2023 19:25

@Ash135 yes but some need extra evidence/phone calls made etc. Some, the form alone Is enough. So even if done In order they'll be some scrambled dates.
I'm 17w3d. (Sounds like pregnancy 🤣) and yes the wait Is driving Me crazy.. I want to know if I can afford private physio for My son.

RaychieBee · 20/12/2023 19:43

I'm 21/08 northwest and I was told February 🤦

Mumofisla · 20/12/2023 19:59

Hi,

im new here but have been looking for a while. I have put a claim in for my son scan date 18/08
first text 23/10
second text 13/11

I rang up last week to add some new info as my son has been referred following his eye test and also to rapid access for his stools and milk allergy.
the lady I spoke to said she was going to send a message to my claim, but wasn’t being looked at yet.
haven’t heard anything this week, may ring Friday but guess the lines will be busy that day.
just worried it is going to be a decline as he is 2 years, but has motor delay at 12 months. And has physio, not yet walking. And a standing frame.

2010crazyboymum · 20/12/2023 20:11

@RaychieBee February! They really are trying to stop people chasing up their claims aren't they!

BizzleMummy · 20/12/2023 20:12

My forms were received 29/8… not phoned and had the 3 texts, I was hopping to receive an update before Christmas but not looking likely, I’m in East Yorkshire

Mumtotwogirls01 · 20/12/2023 20:12

@Kiddiewinks5 I’m in a similar situation as you. My daughter is epileptic and they’ve put her on a new medication totalling 3 and upped another she’s on to try and manage the seizures. I just can’t face risking delaying the application further by sending more evidence. On the other hand I don’t want it to affect her application being approved. Do you mind me asking what evidence you sent? I sent consultation notes from her consultant, neurologist and epilepsy nurse, a letter from school SENCO and a prescription slip.

It’s just so awful watching your child go through this and being totally helpless. I hope you hear soon. My scan date is 30/08 so still a while to go x

brokenbitbybit · 20/12/2023 20:43

14/08 and received a text saying I've been awarded today. Not sure which rates etc. do I need to wait for the letter before I update universal credit ?

Pnikpebble88 · 20/12/2023 21:15
