Continuing on from part 23 as it was getting full

Just seen a post on Facebook that someone's been awarded with a scan date of 01/09 🤦

Hi! I sent form off on the 6th of December and today I read that you are meant to get a text or a letter to say they have recieved it within 2 weeks of sending it off. Should I call tomorrow or has anyone waited longer than 2 weeks for them to tell you they’ve got it? I’m no way expecting a decision any time soon but I just want to know it got there safe!

@RaychieBee I wonder if there's come under special circumstances? Or someone literally lucky dips these out a hat!

I waited about 3 weeks for mine.

@brokenbitbybit no you don't need to wait as long as you know the rates and the date they awarded from you can update uc ...

@sadhappylife I didn't get a letter until 6 weeks after I sent it ... they hadn't even scanned it until the 4th week

@RaychieBee I also saw one dated 4th October

Scan date 1/09 had 3 texts, I’m just gunna wait to ring in January I’ll be week 18 on 5th January

Hey. I didn't receive anything for about a month. I called them 2 weeks after I sent them and they told me they still hadn't come through the system yet, but that they were likely sat in a pile waiting to be scanned onto the system. Eventually got scanned on about 3 weeks after I sent them. Hope that reassures you.

just started following this thread again, scan date 4/09. I did a claim earlier in may for my other child, I was on some of the earlier threads I got awarded for him at exactly 18wks, it was with a DM for over a week, think we established getting text messages doesn’t mean a thing, some of us got them some of us didn’t, I did get a message when he was awarded though. Also for anyone updating UC they don’t rush, think mine took over a month for them to backdate it for me, some were quicker. Ringing up everyone gets told different things which just causes a lot of stress and doesn’t make them do it any quicker. I remember the anxiety and stress it gave me earlier this year it was awful so i do know how you’re all feeling, I won’t be ringing again for any updates for my other claim. Really hope you all get your answers for your little ones soon, just try and enjoy your Christmas if you don’t get a decision beforehand 🙂

@Mum2onebeauifulgirl hiya sorry I’ve only just seen your messege so I put a messege on the Friday morning, the Tuesday they called me and the backdated money was in my account today, so 6 days in total x

Phoned again this morning. Must have been 1 of the first through 😂 lovely lady on the phone.
Said its not on a desk yet but they're hoping to get them on a desk by 17 weeks and to try and phone again in January. Just gunna wait and see now 😂

Does anyone know if back payment can go in any time of the day?

Me too. Spoke to a helpful lady. She said they are getting through to the CM at 17 weeks now. I said I'm on 18 weeks and she just said hopefully any day then 🙏

Hi thank you for your message, yes we are very similar, no of course not I have added the same as you too plus the prescription, so we’re similar dates and the same evidence.
Me too as I’ve seen on here that it definitely prolongs it if call with more evidence. I think it’s very stressful waiting and the not knowing what’s going on step by step.
Fingers crossed our girls get what they are entitled to very soon. My friend said the more evidence you put in the more people they have to contact but I would of thought they would only contact one of them not each person that would explain a longer wait then usual. I thought would be the opposite, evidence there and grant it quickish. Years ago all I sent in was consultant’s phone number honestly, now they want everything. Definitely better than February! It was nice to talk to someone really helpful. She actually said "call us much as you like - that's what we're here for!"

I called and got straight through. Asked if it was with a decision maker and told me that they go to a decision maker they look through them then put them in a holding pile until a decision is made. So didn’t actually give me a yes or no answer and then after that asked for my address not sure why at the end of the call when I had already completed security at begging of the call

My dd was awarded Monday back pay in today has your gone in yet?Anything due Monday Tuesday and Wednesday next week will hit the account tomorrow x

I rang yesterday I’m 18 weeks today, scan date 17/08 he basically said it’s not with anyone yet but anytime now but I’m assuming January at least bc they are shit for 4 days over Christmas he was very nice

Just for reference my dd was awarded 18 week to the day like alot of others so I think its around that mark x
