DLA Wait times PART 23…. (2023)

Following on from part 22 as it is about to become full! 😊

Anyone know a good time to call? Tried at 9am this morning but after 1.5 hours was cut off tried again but again was cut off after 45 minutes

I was told it had gone up to 20 weeks on the phone yesterday. How can it go up to 22 weeks in the space of a few hours?!

I think they’re just telling people that so they’ll stop ringing. I was told Friday I should hear by the 18th at the latest

@LollyRiv did U send a lot of evidence ? I think u said u did. I think what they do is say whatever comes to them. I’ve seen ppl on here and fb say they sent no evidence just what they have wrote and still get awarded. Until you get an answer ur gonna feel terrible. They still haven’t texted or called. So all this u will a text is rubbish x what date did urs go to DM ?? Mine was 22nd only yesterday that it came back so probably weekend or Monday was awarded. X

Just received the text to say my child qualifies for DLA. Despite the guy saying yesterday it wasn't even with the DM yet, and it would take another 4 weeks! I'm just pleased the wait is over, not sure how much my DD has qualified for, money not yet in the bank. Good luck to all those still waiting.

I called this morning and the lady I spoke to said it’s not with a dm yet but I should get a decision next week or the week after 🤞🏻

@zombiemum4 it looks like 17 weeks 6 days / 18 weeks bang on it's going to a DM. Then depending on how quick they are you get a decision after that. I'm 03/08 so hopefully today it goes to a DM and i might call Monday rather than Friday to see if there's a decision.

@mumoftwoxxx yes August 30th so 14 weeks. Got two texts , last one was Tuesday last week saying they're still looking at claim. Xx

@Hardingcl iv gave them a call got a lovely woman on the phone she’s sent a email over to them to look at this as she said I should had notifTion in uc by now so she said I should hear by end today/tomorrow morning xxxxxxx

They're definitely telling us all different things then 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Mammalee5 So weird how they do it. I’ve seen some people on fb getting awarded at 17 weeks

@Tabithagreen that does give me hope! My scan date is 24th august, last text was 21st November, haven't heard anything since but too anxious to call 😅 will be 15 weeks waiting tomorrow. x congrats on your award hope i hear soon too x

@Holly0209 pretty sure it's 4 weeks on the Wednesday now. So 27th of December. Otherwise 28th as that's four weeks but the voicenote when you call sats payments will nownbe made on Wednesdays

@Mammalee5 thankyou it’s so confusing as some say Tuesday and others Wednesday lol then we have Xmas bank holidays 😂

Hi does anyone know how long MR are taking the DM made a decision without waiting for school evidence to be scanned on 😩
