Following on from part 22 as it is about to become full! 😊

I called them back on my lunch break the man I spoke to said it went to a decision maker Monday (so no idea y I was told earlier it wasn’t and a rough estimate it would take 20-22 weeks due to Christmas and new year but could be sooner then that. Have you heard anything?

@Tiredmum90 how strange! Why do they tell us all different things 🤦🏼‍♀️ no haven't heard anything at all. Might call again tomorrow or Monday. Praying to hear something over the weekend 🤞🏻

I braved it to call but got cut off after 30mins on hold 😴

@mumoftwoxxx I hope you hear from them very soon too. I was in shock when noticed the payment! I had forgot about it for a bit. I haven't phoned up once, just left it to them and trusted they would get around to it eventually. I received my letter today, confirming the award...the day after payment going in the bank. They told me it could take up to 15 weeks initially. I didn't get a text to confirm award, just a letter as I mentioned...fingers crossed for you x

just received a text saying my child qualifies. I’m guessing it’s for the 02/08. I’ll call them to confirm tomorrow.

@Tabithagreen that's really good considering what I'm reading on here it taking 18-20 weeks for some which has me so anxious waiting this long, I keep questioning if I sent enough evidence and explained my child's needs enough. I suppose all I can do is keep waiting with my fingers crossed, I haven't spoke to them either but did try calling today however the line went dead at 30mins on hold. I won't call back 🙈

So relived just spent 1.5 hours on the phone got through and been awarded lrm mrc so happy!💖

I have the same date, still trying to get through on the phone, waited over an hour this morning before I got fed up, I’m trying again now currently at 40mins bloody ridiculous.

1.5 hours to get through. She was a bit arsey to start but I'm an ex customer complaints pro so she had no chance, she was sweet as pie by the end. No decisions yet, 2 of my children's claims are with a decision maker, 1 isn't yet. All 3 are 03/08

@Mumoflittlegirlepilepsy sorry only just replying, meetings in work have been so long today!
I only sent in a supporting letter from his physiotherapist and something from my parents for the section 'someone who knows them'. This is why I'm thinking it's a decline as I didn't send in a lot. I'm wondering if they are trying to speak with the physio (who is now on mat leave) or his orthopedic consultant maybe which is holding things up... who knows 😕.
They said it went to a CM last Monday (27th). Yours being woth DM from 22nd fills me with some hope 😊.
The chap I spoke to was really lovely and said sometimes it can take about 2 weeks with a CM/DM... fingers crossed 🤞.

Finally got through, decision was made on 29 November which was declined so will have to now do an MR and hope for the best.

@Tammie23 hopefully you get through. if not just remember people from 1/8 & 2/8 have been awarded and a few from that date are with DM. hopefully this Time next week will know. The next week is going to be long and a bloody anxious time but will keep eachother updated xx
