@Tammie23 "i assumed that was for new claims that have just gone in as my letter says 15 weeks and i haven't been notified by text or a letter that it has changed. I can only go by what your department told me"

Also to add "when I called around 16 weeks, i was informed that it's 18 weeks now and to call back then"

Hi everyone, I'm new here! I've been stalking the threads for a few weeks but decided to bite the bullet and create an account 😊

My scan date was 01/08
First text - 09/10
Second text - 31/10

I haven't called them yet as I don't want to block the phone lines etc. and you guys are all doing an amazing job keeping everyone updated! I'm also waiting for my own PIP review to be done so I keep eyeballing my texts 👀

@Rebeccanew good luck! I’ve messaged my case worker twice and he just keeps saying they don’t have a timeframe. I’ve messaged this morning saying it’s a lot of money that we were entitled to and I’m anxious it’s not going to be paid back xxx

hi scan date 2/8, I called this morning as we r at 18 weeks was told it’s in a holding pile to go to a dm and it is now taking 22 weeks to get a decision and I’m looking at early January for decision has anybody been told similar? I’ve held off calling but seeing dates in the same week be awarded I decided to call kind of wish I hadn’t now as still no further

@Tiredmum90 someone was told the same the other day. They called back the next day and had been awarded. Take it with a pinch of salt. It's to get you to stop calling by the looks of it

@Tiredmum90 The more I read the more frustrated I get. How can some 2/8 dates be with a dm yet you’ve been told January🙄 From now on I’m not going to believe anything they say🤣

Called this morning. Decision was made 1/12. We've been declined. Put in for MR, currently taking 4 weeks. Including Xmas, I'd imagine to hear mid January. That takes us to a 29 week wait 🤦‍♀️

@Tiredmum90 I called yesterday scan date 3/8 and was told 21 weeks, won't get a decision until the new year 🙃 yet 1/8 and 2/8 are now being awarded!

Oh okay I called up on 20/11 I think. I called again on Wednesday to advise a letter was on its way and to not make a decision before it arrives so the man I spoke to wrote a note on the file. I didn't send it recorded delivery tho only 1st class so fingers crossed they receive it🤞🏼 will call in a couple of weeks to see if they've received it thank you xx

Hey long time lurker. I'm currently on hold have been here for 1 hour so far. Scan date 03/08 was told on the 21/11 it was going to a CM calling for an update not optimistic because of the 21 week benchmark now. I don't understand why the wait times are pushed back more. Surely it would be longer waits for newer claims the older ones staying with the same benchmark. Good luck to everyone waiting and congratulations to everyone being awarded. Will update when I get through...

@Hardingcl yeah iv messaged again this morning had no reply as of yet! Iv seen some awards after been dealt quicker so confusing but I’m gonna give to end today if iv not got a message back I’m ringing up! I’m sure if we owed money they would be straight on it xxxxxx

Ah okay maybe it’s just to stop me calling back maybe I might try again Friday so I have some sort of update before the weekend. Good luck to u all

It’s very frustrating. I put off calling until today but had seen similar dates being awarded so decided to call dead on 9am.

It would be much less stressful if the feedback was consistent.

I agree with the advice above - if your letter is saying 15 weeks then give them a call and don’t feel guilty about chasing!

@Tabithagreen did I read correctly you've been awarded with August 30th scan date? 😊

@Tammie23 @Kelseeyx just got through its with a DM they are saying 20-21 weeks for a decision to be made but its based on the case if its complex will take the full time if its not it wont xx

@Jaffacakesrlife thank you so maybe check our banks in a few days I was going to ring Friday but going to wait till Monday tbh xx

@Tammie23 now I know its with the DM I will keep checking my bank and just keep everything crossed 20 weeks is 20/12 so hopefully will hear by then especially if their working weekends xxx

For the ladies waiting for uc I updated them on Monday to say my son was awarded and I hadn't heard anything and then just got this message

I called this morning to check some additional info had been received and the lovely guy on the phone told me it went to a decision maker yesterday and that I will have a decision by this time next week 🙌🏻

2/8 18 wks today... after ringing this am and them telling me it went to dm yesterday I've just got a text to say we qualify!!!
Omg I can't belive it I've got an adrenaline rush so pleased it's all over b4 Xmas.
