I rang dead on 9 and was answered with a couple of minutes. No decision yet it’s still with the case manager apparently.

@Mumoflittlegirlepilepsy got through straight away but still no decision 😭. He said it is taking a while for them to decide but they might be trying to contact health care professionals etc.... omg, the wait it just awful and I just know its going to be a decline. Feeling so deflated.

I'm super pleased for everyone who is being awarded as i know the wait is so long and everyones little ones are getting what they deserve 😊 . Im just so frustrated that mine, from 21/07 is still being decided upon 😕 xx

My son was not awarded I have asked for an MR, I've sent a letter with more evidence in .. how do I know if they have received it should I ring or will I get a text or anything? Also they said 4-5 weeks for MR when do u start that from the day I told them or the day they receive my evidence? Sorry for all the questions I'm new to this 🙈

@Geegee1506 sorry hun. Your MR wait time starts from when you put the MR in. So 4-5 weeks from now. Anything you send to DLA try to send special delivery, they have a habit of "not receiving" things...until you tell them who signed for it and when. Miraculously it's found. Otherwise call in about 2 weeks to check x

@cocoapple I just called my scan date is 14/08 still nothing yet they told me they are still on July 🫤

Hi all, haven't been on here in many moons but since my girl 13, became ill with IBD UC and last year and other issues I have been reading this thread about DLA and waiting times. I phoned July 29th for forms and scan was August 30th. I received a payment from DWP DLA yesterday backdated so if anybody has similar dates then they should get a decision very soon. Good luck ladies!!

17 weeks and 3 days now still not with dm not going to bother calling them again to stressful they tell me different ever time I phone

@Looloo12332 Oh really😫The wait is ridiculous! I’m driving myself mad keep checking on here and the Facebook groups🫣I need to try and forget about it for a few weeks but it’s hard

@Looloo12332 think they're finishing off july and moving slowly onto beginning of August. I'm 03/08 so being realistic, hoping to get a decision or payment next week. Seems to be about 18 weeks it goes to DM then a few days to week with a DM. Hopefully you find out before they break for Christmas/new year. Cutting it close if they stick to this pattern. Hopefully you get a DM that takes a day or 2. Otherwise it'll be the first week and half of January. It's painfull.

@Looloo12332 same date, looks like we're going to be waiting awhile yet unless they pull some Christmas miracle out the bag 🫠

I’m currently waiting on hold 20 mins so far, scan date was 28th July ☹️ but seeing others with 1/8 scan dates being awarded. Hoping it hasn’t been declined for my son. Sent all the evidence I have so wouldn’t know what else I could possibly send in if we had to take it further.

Scan date - 27/7
Went to a decision maker last week Monday. My other son was awarded with the same scan date last Tuesday.
Every time I call I get the same, still nothing. Had enough now! Yet still on hold trying again. He’s been refused 3 times before which is ridiculous considering his needs and evidence. But I will do a MR this time if refused. Just need to know now.
Sorry, rant over.

I have tried calling got cut off 3 times now when i call the line is just silent.

I really hope that everyone finds out soon. The wait is ridiculous. @cocoapple I'm exactly the same. I'm stuck now, constantly checking Facebook and mumsnet, refreshing text messages, checking if I've missed a call, checking my bank account every morning. For 15 weeks i tried to ignore about it all, then as it got to week 16 i started stressing. 18 weeks tomorrow.

2/8 rang this morning and was told it went to a decision maker yesterday! Said it can take 3-5 days and I would get a text if successful..... I'm going to be on edge now 😬

4/8/23 trying to get through to them for the second time. The first Tim this morning I was waiting 48 minutes and it cut off😡 I’m getting so sick of waiting now, it’s ridiculous 😩

second text- 31st October.
Think that makes me 18 weeks now? Hopefully hear soon🤞🏻

Hi everyone, I called this morning at 9am
on the dot and got through to a really lovely lady who confirmed that my daughter was awarded MRC and LRM yesterday for 2 years and the back pay should reach my account in a few days.

I cried!

I was worried that I hadn’t written enough as I gave quite a brief overview of my daughter’s challenges but did have her EHCP, diagnosis, statement from teacher, OT and EP.

is anyone still waiting for scan dates 28/07 i still havent heard nothing called yesterday and they said its now taking 21 weeks to go to a case manager

@Hardingcl nearly 20 days for me! It’s a joke a think am gonna give them a call today xxxxxx

What is everyone saying when they ring up as it says 20 weeks for a decision?
