I've been reading this post for a bit.. much more informative than the fb groups I was trying to follow!
I'm 21/08. So hopefully soon fingers crossed.

But I do chuckle with these ... People saying weeks/days/scans..
Reminds me of pregnancy groups 🤣🤣

@2010crazyboymum I thought that when I first came onto the thread, this will definitely be my last type of scan date that’s for sure🤣

I rang on Monday and the call handler said I was looking at another 5 weeks (Monday was 15w so 20w) but these posts are more hopefull!

@Purple69 yes...exactly the same dates.... scan and both texts all the same x

Hi, I’ve been reading these for a while, my sons claim has taken 17 weeks since scan date so far and 22 weeks altogether, I’m seeing alot of people saying they were awarded at 18 weeks on social media, so you think that’s from the scan date or from the start of the claim?? Thanks in advance for any help you give, this wait is an absolute killer! x

Think I should add that I’ve had no texts, no letters what-so-ever, I only know scan date because my mum rang up for me (mental health) and she said they’d received it, I’ve sent extra evidence off since (EHCP) and still heard nothing…. Like to keep you guessing dont they lol x

@funinthesun19 my scan date is 16/08 so it’s taken 16 weeks 2 days xx

@Kezzia87 its around 18 weeks from the scan date but it can be longer sometimes. Have you rang them to confirm they’ve received the EHCP?

So could be next week or could be longer we shall see, I sent lots of evidence off with the initial claim but I haven’t rang back since because she said not to bother untill today as it should of gone to decision maker and phone calls I struggle with because of my mental health so I have to wait to see my mum again, which only adds to the frustration really x

I submitted a renewal 9 weeks ago and just recieved the different between medium and high rate care into my bank no text no letters all the way through rang thursday to see if i had time to send extra evidence and lady i spoke to said yes, was going to post tomorrow

@Maxine92 ive seen a few with our dates getting a decision this last week so hopefully not much longer to go! I’ll probably call them

Does anyone know if they can text on Saturdays? Scan date is 14/8 so know I’ve probably got a couple of weeks left yet at least but I can hope🤣

@cocoapple yes the DMs have been working weekends to get through the backlog so it’s possible

Well I sent extra evidence Thursday special delivery, meant to reach them by yesterday 1pm, and RM tracking shows it's still in transit/ not delivered 🙄 it's really stressing me out this whole process. Now I'm anxious it's lost, or won't be scanned for ages and will delay the process more!! Paid nearly £8 and it wasn't even delivered 😫
