How long is evidence taking to be scanned does anyone know ?

I’ve just sent our DLA form off today.

im new to this i keep reading congras to everyone whos had there i thought i was the only one that going insane till i started to read this its defo a long wait my scan date is 25/08 15 weeks this week feel so long wait at reading them given me hope and that hopeful that il hear soemthing in the next 2 weeks xx

@Looloo12332 oh bloody hell, I sent some off 2 weeks ago also and sent a different lot today… my scan date is 28/09 so guess I’ve got plenty of time 😂

Does any know how long it takes to go to dm after second text is it 5 weeks?

@Looloo12332 it looks like it’s between 5-6 weeks since last text I hoping so x I had my 2nd text 5/12 x

@mumtumok hopefully they start to speed up my scan date it 14/08 the wait is horrendous 😫. Xx

@Looloo12332 I know it really is! I’ve been driving myself crazy since i sent the forms over thinking everything, writing up more sending it in. I’ve got 2 claims pending for both my boys ages 2&nearly 4 . I worried because they are young x

Yes. My sons nursery Senco and my other sons high school Senco requested I pass it to them once I’d filled it out x

@mumtumok don't feel they are to young iv seen loads of children on here with babies get awarded let's hope all out kids get what is needed.When I applied for my son 2 years ago I sent one peice of paper in he get HRC and LRM xx

@Looloo12332 ah thank you. I feel like I’ve sent the important stuff you know. They are both possible asd, my youngest struggles really bad with sensory processing - he rocks , swings ,flaps ect. My eldest has obsessive tendencies and extreme aggression . Having the DLA would open up so much opportunity for them x

@AHelpfulHand It can be a wait, but then God willing you get loads backdated as a lump sum.

@Mariannec Thank you! I wasn’t too sure about it as she asked for the form and said she’d send it off herself which I was unsure about so I left it blank😞 but I’ll bare this in mind if I need to do MR x

I hope they both get it they deserve it.My sin is possible asd no diagnosis but still git awarded xx

@Paige36 definitely don’t let them send it off.
I sent one of my sons applications during the holidays so I couldn’t get the Senco to fill in the section in the original application. I just sent my photocopies of the form over to the senco when the school reopened and he did his statement on a piece of headed paper and I sent it to DLA as additional evidence. Would that be an option for you ? X
