Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Velaris92 · 07/12/2023 12:05

@Ames52 its a joke isn’t it? Used to take 10 weeks going back a few years ago. The waiting is doing my head in. I can’t stop checking my phone

Kelseeyx · 07/12/2023 12:12

Don't know what I'm going to do if the same woman answers 😬😂😂

Mammalee5 · 07/12/2023 12:16

@Kelseeyx say you have enquired on the dla forums who have advisors that said to call back as it is believed to be misinformation, if it is true then it's a circumstance they've not heard of before and you should have been notified. So please can she double check before you contact citizens advice / your local mp for help, also can she confirm her name please.

That should change her tune fast x

Kelseeyx · 07/12/2023 12:18

@Mammalee5 you are a superstar!

Mammalee5 · 07/12/2023 12:19

@Kelseeyx you've got this xxx

Ames52 · 07/12/2023 12:21

@Kelseeyx I've never had the same person twice - you'll be fine. Are you back on hold? Please let me know what they say. I'm not calling again so I'm going to have to get updates through here.

@Velaris92 It really is. I wouldn't mind if they were providing correct information and not moving the deadlines every time. I can live with that. If they'd said at the beginning, this will take until Feb 2024 for any decision then that's fine. It's the inconsistency of everything that bothers me. I'd never get away with that at work and I don't understand how they believe it is acceptable.

Kelseeyx · 07/12/2023 12:23

@Ames52 got cut off after 1hr 7mins 😩 now trying one more time then I'm done!

Ames52 · 07/12/2023 12:27

@Kelseeyx I'm sorry. That's awful. Good luck. Hopefully you'll get through this time and have some positive news. xx

Jaffacakesrlife · 07/12/2023 12:37

anyone know how long it takes for them to scan additional evidence onto the system. mines with the DM and I didn't have any evidence when i sent the form off and this should hopefully back up everything i said (its from the school senco)

Ilovemychildren123 · 07/12/2023 12:38

Is anyone waiting on an MR decision? Thanks

Jaffacakesrlife · 07/12/2023 12:40

@Kelseeyx definitely call back. when i called yesterday to check my scan date she told me 18/08 then quickly back tracked and said oh no thats something else. so I'm thinking they have dates for every movement of the form (scanned, moved to department, placed in pile, moved to dm pile etc) dont quote me on that but its possible. good luck xx

Mumoflittlegirlepilepsy · 07/12/2023 12:40

@LollyRiv tbats good then as it seems time frame might be same wait as my daughters. That’s what they do tell u a heap of rubbish about contacting Heath care providers. I think u Will know by Monday. I called last Friday nothing called Monday was awarded or was it Tuesday am a little lost. Hold out till Monday xxx

Kelseeyx · 07/12/2023 12:49

@Jaffacakesrlife thank you! Hopefully that's the case 🤞🏻 on hold now

Missycoco1 · 07/12/2023 12:55

I was told the same thing on the phone. My original scan date I was told in October was 6th Aug when I chased it this week I was told my scan date was 17th Aug and I'm looking at new year now to find out anymore. I thought I was going crazy till I saw your post as I was definitely told 6th Aug which would make sense as I posted it in July.

Kelseeyx · 07/12/2023 13:11

@Missycoco1 they shouldn't be allowed to do that 😩

Mojo161989 · 07/12/2023 13:13

@Ilovemychildren123 I am awaiting an MR it's been just over 2 weeks now and they said they are taking around 3 weeks. The extra wait is unbearable. I did send some more evidence off just hoping they receive it as apparently even though I sent it by recorded and was signed for the next day can take 10 days to scan into their system. GL to you. Xox

Mariannec · 07/12/2023 13:21

Does anybody know how they work out when the regular 4-weekly DLA payments are made once back pay is all done ?

Ilovemychildren123 · 07/12/2023 13:21

@Mojo161989 good luck to you too. I’m on week 2 now and just trying to get through to see if they have the extra evidence I sent in. They awarded HRC from MRC but didn’t award mobility under SMI and the reasons were bizarre x

Rebeccanew · 07/12/2023 13:25

@Hardingcl iv had my first letter on my journal accepting special circumstances now to wait for the next letter
have you heard anything xxxxxx

Ilovemychildren123 · 07/12/2023 13:33

@Mojo161989 i got through they said they are taking around 3 weeks but there is a back log at the moment. Mine was put in on 23rd November so they said I should hear by 23rd December hopefully 🤞

mumandchefandallsorts · 07/12/2023 13:34

@Mariannec hi I got awarded on the 2nd dec and they said my next payment would be 2nd Jan. so I think it’s a month after date awarded.

Mariannec · 07/12/2023 13:39

@mumandchefandallsorts thank you! Is that from when the decision is made and payment sent? Or when the payment lands in your account?
my son was awarded yesterday, and payment sent but it’s not reached my account yet x

Jaffacakesrlife · 07/12/2023 13:41

@Kelseeyx keep us updated. got everything crossed its a mistake. xx

Kelseeyx · 07/12/2023 13:44

@Ames52 @Mammalee5 @Missycoco1 panic over just spoke to a lovely man and it's with a cm!! So the person I spoke to this morning definitely got it very wrong! Caused a lot of stress for no reason at all. He said I should get a decision any day now 🤞🏻

Kelseeyx · 07/12/2023 13:46
