Following on from part 22 as it is about to become full! 😊

@Ames52 just got through, I'm furious!! Been told my date is the 19th of August, I said it's the 3rd and she said yeah it depends how many claims we get and how many staff members that they can move your date! Apparently they do this every 2 weeks or something. She is the only one to have said that to me! So going by that date I'm only on 16 weeks, so angry. I literally called on Tuesday and he confirmed my date was the 3rd, how can it change within 2 days 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Kelseeyx No way! How can they even do that? That doesn't make sense. I'd be tempted to phone back and ask someone else. They can't just change the date it was scanned on.

@Ames52 I think I might, I can't believe it! When I called on Tuesday he said my scan date is the 3rd and I'm in the 18th week! How can that change so drastically in 2 days?! Don't understand this system at all.

@Kelseeyx omg that’s so bad, I’d be livid! That’s not fair at all. Hopefully they read it wrong, never heard of that happening before

@Kelseeyx Definitely call back if you have the time. They can't move the decision date by weeks and then have the ability to move around your scan date aswell. He must have got it wrong.
I'm 47 mins on hold so far.

@Kelseeyx that's insane. Surely that's not right. Call again middle of next week. If they've kept it as the 3rd then you should have a decision/be with a DM. I'm so sorry that they're messing you around like this. If it is misinformation you should put a complaint in because it's horrible x

@cocoapple I'm honestly so angry 😩 already been waiting 18 weeks and if it's currently taking 21 weeks and my scan date has moved meaning I've got to do another 5 weeks on top of the 18! Absolutely ridiculous. @Ames52 I'm going to call back I think, I can't go another 5 weeks! Wasn't expecting that at all 🤦🏼‍♀️ @Mammalee5 when she said it I literally went into shock! Like how?! Yes definitely will be complaining, surely it's not right if no one else has had it? Why just me 😂

@Kelseeyx it's horrible x I'm sorry. They have to check another system to see if it's with a DM so make sure to ask them to do that. The woman i spoke to yesterday wasn't happy with me making her do it 3 times but she did it

@Kelseeyx don't mention the scan date change , the call centre person might use it as an out. Just say can you please check the other system to see if it has been passed to a DM yet, just for my peace of mind as waiting this long is stressful as I'm sure you can imagine. Just knowing if it is at the next stage will really help with my anxiety.

We're all a bunch of stressed anxiety mama's that need to help each other through this, otherwise our outside worlds are going to think we're annoying and crazy for non stop talking about it lol. Just come off the phone, I phoned to communicate a change of Gp, this time I had a nice lady. I didn't had to ask and she looked for me at what point I am and she said I should expect a decisions by 3rd or 4th week of this month. Hopefully, this information is accurate this time.

Sorry had to jump straight on a work call. As much use as a chocolate teapot. I asked if it was with a decision maker and was told it would be done by the new year and not to call until January. I may hear before but basically don't hold my breath. I would receive a text when it has decided and it's not yet with a DM.

@Ames52 ive got the same scan date as you and was told it would be done by the 18th last Friday. I think telling people it’ll be January is just a tactic to get people to stop ringing.

@Ames52 no worries! They really haven't got a clue 🤦🏼‍♀️ I was sure we would hear this week, or next but not looking likely! Well specially not for me now anyway 😩😂

Just to give you guys some more information on what to expect. My son was awarded on Tuesday (had a text message) and have the money now pending to hit my account tomorrow. So 3 days from the award to payment.

@Velaris92 yes they've previously told me that too but change the goalposts each time 😔
My friend just received a letter from her application and it still states 15 weeks!

Hi, anyone who’s trying to get backdated uc.. just phoned them and they said sending it to a case manager and they should backdate disabled child element but may not backdate carers element that’s wrong isn’t it? They should both be backdated? He said the case manager will message on my journal or call me but if they don’t backdate carers should I fight for this?

@Kelseeyx I'm going to have to try and find a way to let it go. This stress is unbearable.

@Ames52 yes after this phone call I'm done! Just saw on fb someone with our scan date has been awarded though.

Spoke to a lovely lady just now.
She said she can't see any notes from the DM about my Sons claim. See looked into all of the notes and can't see anything about them requesting further info from health care professionals etc. Hard to understand why it's taking so long (scan date 21/07). I didnt send in loads of info, just a supporting letter from physio. She said that I should hear by the end of this week and to call Monday if I've not heard anything.
The lady suggested that the DM who has my sons claim is working over the weekend so it may get looked at then.
Gosh, the wait is so hard! Fingers crossed I hear soon.
