DLA wait times… part 22 (2023)

Following on from part 21 as it is about to become full! 😊

@Mumof3specialkids my scan date is 28/7 I called up yesterday to add some information on I did not even ask how long and the lady said I should hear something in the next 10 days so fingers crossed for us xx well done to everyone awarded in the last couple of days and also good luck to everyone waiting, I get DLA for my 12 year old asd, I have applied for my 5 year old selective mute and on pathway for asd no diagnosis as yet but toilet anxiety and a few care needs day and night xx

COC scan date 22nd June I’ve just had a text saying my child qualifies I’ll be ringing Monday

I’ve recieved a text today saying I’ve been awarded going to ring Monday

If been awarded a higher rate does it back dated to date scanned or date rang for COC forms

21/7 scan date I make that 18 weeks 1 day am so worried. I just want to know YES/NO x

@Mumofepilepsy 18 weeks 3 days for me, and it's driving me mad, I just want to know so I can move on when its a decline, until I know I can't

Scan date 6/8 had no diagnosis when I applied but now have one for autism and demand avoidance as our appointment was bought forward and can't get through to let them know, it's so frustrating to keep getting cut off! Going to send the diagnosis letter recorded delivery on Monday and hope for the best... good luck all those that are still waiting.

i was told our claim was flagged up to be looked at this weekend 21/07 scan date, so i’m thinking cool we should definitely hear next week, but then i’ve read others say they contact the school, my senco is terrible for responding to people so i’m probably not going to get a decision till december 2024 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣do they always contact the school even if they’ve written supporting evidence?

I can only assume they didn’t contact anyone for mine as it went to Dm & decision was made under 24 hrs later xx

@Linacre96 i got told it’s from when they received forms, congratulations on your award mine was scan date 16th June and been with a decision maker since Wednesday hopefully not much longer for me 🤞
