To all those with no diagnosis with adhd. My daughter has no diagnosis. And we were awarded this week. 18 weeks 3 days. Please do an mr as it’s looked at by other people x

Thanks hun this is good to know I am really worried we will get rejected we only had a letter from my sons behaviour worker and he was referred to Chams but I was told this could take a long time but they saw him last Monday and agreed off first meeting he needs help and he now has to wait for the next doctor to do a qbr test I think that’s what it’s called but he is 12 never had any help he very impulsive and dangerous behaviour x

Cdanielle29 · 23/11/2023 17:20

Emsale83 · 23/11/2023 17:57

Scan date 31/07 my daughter has a diagnosis of autism and I sent her report in with the claim. She also has hyper-mobility in her hips, as she is very flexible, but her hips ache after walking a little way. I have added this to the claim, but she will not see the GP about it, so if they do contact the GP it will not be on record, so only my word. Has this happened with anyone else, where there is something going on, but no records? I have also read that DM's can't be bothered to contact GP records half the time anyway?? I haven't phoned yet to seek an update on her claim, as after reading all your experiences, it has put me off. I'm ADHD and ASD, and hate calling people at the best of times, if I got a rude person I would either flip with a meltdown or come off the phone shaking and crying! I just hope my daughter gets a decision soon, I've seen dates near mine being completed. Sorry rant over!!

Looloo12332 · 23/11/2023 18:07

I sent off more evidence today plus the dr has done me a supporting letter today so will sme dit off tomorrow.Good luck for tomorrow everyone

BlueyMinicooperSD · 23/11/2023 18:16

Scan date on letter 20-07-23
first text 25-09-23
second text 16-10-23
Heard nothing …. Cannot ring as I work in an I college unit I’m feeling defeated 😞 as I’m seeing later dates getting awarded already…..
Tough job work wise but I do it to help parents and try and give kids hope of success. Then I’m coming home to the same level of craziness…..
No rest I keep calm and just carry on! Well done to those already awarded

BlueyMinicooperSD · 23/11/2023 18:18

@JustAboutRM yes still waiting we are in Berkshire not sure if it’s a postcode lottery with awards to be honest !!

MammyAng84 · 23/11/2023 18:21

I’m same date, rang today it’s made it’s way to the Dm yesterday & told they have upto 10 days to decide if that helps

Looloo12332 · 23/11/2023 18:51

@Emsale83 I would be very shocked if u dont get it as you have a diagnosis I camt see them declining

MangoPepsiLover · 23/11/2023 19:47

Still heard nothing, didn;t get time to ring today gonna leave it until Monday.

But if I do need to do MR I have more evidence now as the GP has decided to prescribe the stronger calpol/paracetamol for my DDs Hypermobility after a battle.

So I can always send that off if needed.

funinthesun19 · 23/11/2023 19:56

Just to confirm, is the scan date the date they receive the application form through the post, or is it when they put it all on the system waiting to be looked at?

Luevzamum · 23/11/2023 19:57

has anyone done a mandatory reconsideration regarding the HRM and if so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I don’t know where to start he said I have 2 weeks to get in any extra evidence then will take a further 6 weeks from then. This was this afternoon wen I phoned them. I’m not sure what I need to do for an MR 😖

@funinthesun19 Yes scan date and recieved date are same thing, when I rang on Tuesday he said "We recieved it on 19th July"

Ah thank you. I only ask because they received it on the 24th August (sent it recorded delivery so tracked it). I did receive a letter from them through the post saying they had got it. But when I rang them to way back in early September to see if all was ok with the form and it was on the system etc… the lady I spoke to said something about the 7th September. So for that reason I’ve just been going with the 7th September as scan date.

First text was 31st October and second text was 21st November. I’m hoping the scan date is the 24th August as it means I’m 2 week further ahead than I thought I was. 🙃

TRMummy · 23/11/2023 20:47

19/07

woke up this morning to back pay. HRC for my 3 year old 🥳

good luck to those still waiting x

Sam1995x · 23/11/2023 21:07

Scan date 19/07 .
Phoned up today at 18 weeks 1 day to be told my son has been awarded MRC and LRM. No text or anything and was with DM since last Friday. I cried down the phone happy tears, the wait is finally over and my baby got what he deserves. Been a silent follower on these threads but you've all kept me sane thank you!!! & good luck to all those waiting to hear.

WhereDidTheTimeGo888 · 23/11/2023 21:25

Hi, does anyone have the address to send in extra evidence, please? Also, do you have to phone them to let them know you’re sending it? I don’t want to sit on the phone that long if I don’t have to. My scan date is 12/10 so I have plenty of time yet.

Mummyrach13 · 23/11/2023 23:34

Here’s the address @WhereDidTheTimeGo888 I didn’t call them to let them know I was sending and I sent quite a bit of additional info. Just pop your reference number if you have it, Childs name and date of birth on the top of every page. Then it will get scanned onto your original claim form. X
