What is a scan date? We have applied and I've had 3 letters and 2 texts saying its still being considered

@Ames52 you musnt have to send 1 in then if not requested 1 so your okay also doesn't effect the claim apparently still will go through the stages even if they haven't recieved it yet but I'm long wait yet as I rang for dla forms 13 weeks ago but my scan date is only 7 weeks ago 4/Oct so I'm no where ner yet and not even recieved any messages as of yet x

Just got through still with CM been with them since the 20th they have told me it takes up to 2 weeks to make a decision so will get back to me by 8th december and they have also said it’s taking 20 weeks now as they get 50 cases each time.
this wait is just to stressful and I’m not happy about changing the time frames so frequently!

@Sarahdestiny Thanks - I'd requested two sets of forms and never received them so by the time I was able to print and complete my date is about 12 weeks past the first date I requested the forms.

@crazytimes20 @cocoapple I know! Technically if it’s been with a CM since the 20th if it’s 2 weeks I should know by the 4th December not the 8th so will be ringing back then

Just got through after 1.5 hours to be told was declined Monday.
Not bothering with a MR, I just haven't got it in me.

It was pointed out that I refused for them to contact school and she hasn't got a diagnosis for adhd yet just on the pathway!

4 hours on hold in total since yesterday 🙄 Just spoken to someone, they've got the wrong scan date on my file for some reason. It says scanned in September when actually is was scanned 8th August. It's getting really frustrating. He's promised me he's changed the date, but I don't know what to believe anymore. Has anyone had an issue with incorrect scan dates and has it been resolved? He said going by the August date, I should hear something in another month.

Just had a very rude man on the phone said oh yes yes yes I remember this name I said I have never called before yes yes u have no I have not!! I requested the manager for him to say sorry I won’t do that and hung up! 1hour 50 mins on hold I am absolutely ragin!

Seems there is a high number of staff in this dept with some seriously shitty attitudes. Utterly disgraceful. If I ring up I'm going to record the conversation. I already had the guy who I first requested the form from who blatantly wasn't even taking a note of my address (hence it never arrived)
It's borderline abusive and gaslighting.

He was t even going to check as it is just 15 week I said I haven’t called before he said yes u have I remember that name see it doesn’t just disappear! I felt like saying who the …. You talking to!

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I'm not surprised you felt like saying that. I may have been reading too many of the arsey comments on here, but I'd be tempted to note the exact time I got through and send an email to my MP. (I was a manager in a Govt dept for 20 years and have never come across attitudes of the like that have been described here relating to DWP call handlers)

@RainbowZebraWarrior sometime i feel like we should start a petition about the way thing are handle there, i havent called myself but reading here is like they are talking to beggars almost, not fair al all the way they are treating peoples if they were answering people wirh honesty, most peoples wont be calling all the time .

Anyone been able to get uc to respond. 3 days. A message each day and I called them. No response :(

To all those with no diagnosis with adhd. My daughter has no diagnosis. And we were awarded this week. 18 weeks 3 days. Please do an mr as it’s looked at by other people x

Called today after 1hr 21mins they said only just doing middle of July this week, all claims are taking 18 weeks minimum, my scan date is 04/08, ring back in 3 weeks, very abrupt, east Midlands area , good luck everyone!

@Clairexdx try giving UC a call and explain your waiting fpr a work.coach or CM to check ur journal thats what I did if you happen to get gd adviser on the phone they will send a msg to a work.coach to take a look
