scan date 18/7. Tried calling Friday pm but ran out of time.
Starting to worry now 😔 xx

I'm beginning to wonder if there's some target to get a certain percentage done within a timescale and they've handed some newer cases to someone else to get done quicker so they stay within that. Could explain why some like mine are not even with a DM yet whilst newer ones have gone through. It's doing my head in - don't think I've seen any decisions for 18/7 but loads for 27/7. Who knows

Complete newby here - please can someone explain what the scan date is? I sent my form away a few weeks ago. Sounds like I am in for a long wait!

Your scan date is the date they scan your forms on to the system @Wishiwasalittlebitsmaller usually you will receive a letter anything around 6 weeks or so after they get your forms and it will have your scan date on it. Saying they received them on such as such date, that’s your scan date x

Hopefully they get through august quickly and get to September 🫤

@Emsale83 we have the same dates!! Hopefully we hear something soon, I called Friday and was told probably another 3 weeks.

@Ollysmomma @Helentwinsplus1 i see yesterday a person with scan date 17/7 got a reward text so i think ours should be next week 🤞

@Krys83 fingers crossed we will hear something in three weeks, or sooner!

Does anyone know how long the wait time is for carers allowance and will they back date to the dla award date? Thanks xx

@Sophiesmilesxxx i Seen asdmummy on the other thread had hers done and in the bank within 7 days and she had it backdated but not sure if it’s as quick for others as have seen some waiting weeks too xx

@Sophiesmilesxxx I waited a week and was backdated to the Monday after dla was awarded as ca has to start on a Monday x

Congrats to all those awarded! Good luck to those still waiting.
I feel like the stress of the wait is actually making me feel ill now. Especially when so many with the same date have been awarded….don’t know how those earlier in July are managing to cope.
After speaking to the extremely rude lady last week, I called the following day and made a complaint. Got a lovely lady….she said the lady’s behavior was completely unacceptable. She stated that we all have the right to call as many times as we want and no one should be telling us to stop calling, especially when it’s only the second time I called, 1st to check they had received evidence, 2nd to update that my son got the EHCP approved and I will send in paperwork. And I’m waiting on the outcome of 2 claims, one was a missed renewal because I was in intensive care at the time it was due.
She’s logged an official complaint about said agent and couldn’t apologize enough.
So if you’ve had a rude call handler, it’s worth reporting it the next time you call so they can be made aware of the way stressed and vulnerable customers are being treated and can hopefully pin point it to specific agents.

Really hope so! @Mummyof5kiddos @Helentwinsplus1 that makes sense.. surely they have manage targets for processing some how.
I sent some extra evidence a couple of weeks back and when I rang to check if it had been added..said it was taking up to 4 weeks scan on! They also put a note on my account to say expect it.
I’m thinking to ring Tuesday at 18 weeks.
