how long isit normally with a CM does anyone know please ?

not sure how this works but when you send off the form to apply does that automatically get scanned on to system the day they receive it or do you have to ring to find out scan date ?

@Emma2345 they told me on the phone that my scan date was the day they received the forms

The date they receive the forms & get scanned into system is ur scan date & that’s what u use to work out ur start date, they received mine on 20/07 so I’m 18 weeks today xx

@Emma2345 hi, they received my forms 23/7 and they were scanned onto their system 25/7. I never received a letter or txt for 5 wks. I rang them at 4 wks and the guy over the phone told me my scan date. But then I got a letter a week later confirming it.

Would the 21st of July be my scan date or would this be when they’d backdate me from (if I were awarded)

EDIT Obviously the 21st wouldn’t be my scan date as that was when I sent off for the forms🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m tired today🤣

21st would be from when it gets backdated - scan date is the date the actually receive the form

Back dated to the 21st if it was received before 1st September

Finally got through it went to a Dm yesterday so just need to wait, have said could be upto 10 days 🤞🏻

For those waiting for coc my scan date was 8 June and my letter was dated 15 November

@crazytimes20 i have seen nothing from 22nd they went past and start responding to 27th😏 do not make sense

@roki I know. I don't understand. Seems to be taking ages to get past 20th. Still doesn't make sense why so many 27/7 were awarded like a week ago. It's so frustrating. Having to wait 18 wks is shocking.

Rang dla today took me 16 times to ring before got through then 1 hour and 30 mins for them to answer phone
Just to tell me they haven't recieved my sons birth certificate from 6 weeks ago and that I now have to pay and order a new 1 and send it again * not happy they lost my sons original 1 and also said taking 18 weeks from the scan date so I've got a real long wait ahead still and costing me more money to get a new certificate plus postage there usless

Does every application require a copy of the birth certificate?

Does anyone remember the adress I have to put on a envelope to send a new birth certificate please thanks 🙏

@Ames52 hi I am not sure I think they do as I had to send 1 for my other son to when I applied for his x

@Ilovemychildren123 eventually got thru , man said it is staying the same so I’ve got to do a mandatory reconsideration as i and other medical professionals involved in my sons life daily says he more than ticks every box on the SMI flowchart so I’ve got to send in extra evidence in 2 weeks then it will take a further 6 weeks from their 😫😫😫😫

@Sarahdestiny @cocoapple Thanks - looks like I'm about to have an even longer wait then as I have a scan date of 03/08 with the second text 31/10 so thought I was nearly there.😔

@Luevzamum so sorry to hear that. We have had to complete an MR for mobility as well. I did a COC for HRC & HRM we got HRC but not mobility. I was asked to send more information too and told 4-5 weeks for them to be looked at x

@Ames52 My scan date was 14/8 and second text was 7/11

Just got off the phone. New claim, scan date 24/7. Lovely lady, she said its been marked to be done during over time this weekend so will have a decision 100% by next week.
originally called about my other child but thought i would check whilst on the phone after such a long wait 😩
