There’s a few of us still waiting from 19/20th July & been told upto 2 weeks

Lauren2121 · 22/11/2023 22:46

my scan date is 4/8 I rang monday and they said i should hear by new years but should be around end of December but seem like they are getting through the Julys quicker so got my fingers crossed it’s good news before Christmas, hate the waiting x

Loumumoftwo · 22/11/2023 22:51

My scan date is 2/8 and when I rang last week the lovely lady told me I’m looking at a decision by 6/12 (18weeks)
I can’t believe how many different answers we get depending on who answers the phone

Mrsstephens04 · 22/11/2023 22:52

Been reading through thread and just wanted to say I feel all of you lovely ladies, I was one of the uneducated (half these kids aren't autistic they just aren't told no enough, there's no such thing as a fussy eater the kids are just given too many options.... I thought it all) UNTILL my 4th baby came along 🙈 I take absolutely EVERY thought back, it's seriously hard work and it's not until you have an autistic child that your whole mind changes and I'm nit going to lie I still don't understand half of what their poor little heads go through and the way they think and the different ways they explore things I'm still learning more every single day, my 3.5 Yr old urinated in he's clothes drawers almost every night but goes absolutely ballistic if I move thr drawers out the room so I now have to put he's old clothes on and only a couple of items in each drawer that he never wears so it's easy for me to wash and tumble thr next day and put back, he won't eat anything if its thr slightest bit broken or not the perfect shape, he won't touch gravy if it's too thick or too thin it has to be perfect, he won't use cutlery with any dinner and will only eat cereal off a certain plate with a fork he won't ue a bowl for cereal 🙈 strips off constantly he hates clothes, mostly wears odd shoes, goes crazy if I don't do he's coat zip up to the correct place, he wake multiple times a night to cause absolute chaos we've had to have our cooker switch moved as he's cooked socks and coat hangers he would climb kn the sides and turn the cooker on at the mains so we've had to have it moved above our head heights in a cupboard above the kitchen door so he cannot ever reach it. We have to unplug the washing machine every evening and tie the plug behind the sink so he can't reach it as he's tried putting the puppy in the washing machine I cannot put him in a car seat in the back seats he's escaped multiple times and j have wind down windows in the back he's tried climbing out the windows so I have he's car seat in the front with me so I can watch he's every move (all the time I have the same song on repeat he's fine) I mean the list is endless I could go on for hours, paediatrician said he was an absolute mystery to her because he has autistic traits and alot of them but because he shows empathy when someone is sad or hurt he's not autistic (I highly disagree that anyone with autism cannot shoe empathy or sympathy, but I've only done online research with autism so I may be wrong) but she said he shows alot of other signs of other things so she needed to spend some time to come up with a more suiting diagnosis, he's absolutely obsessed and I mean obsessed with pur giant dog we have a 1yr old newfoundland and he needs to be with her alot during thr day even when she just wants to chill in her crate he will lay inside it with her she's absolutely amazing with him and so gently with him considering she's 10 stone and almost 7ft tall when on her back legs but he needs to kiss and cuddle her loads during the day, it's seriously hard work 😢

Ilovemychildren123 · 23/11/2023 06:48

Anonymousks1984 · 23/11/2023 06:57

Hi has anyone been awarded COC for June yet?

Raych1989 · 23/11/2023 07:15

@Hardingcl I informed UC about my change with Dla for my daughter nearly 3 weeks ago and only just received a message yesterday saying its been sent to decison maker. I still have to wait for decison to be made and then backdate awarded. For some people its taken a few days and then like myself its been 3 weeks so far. Hopefully yours will be sooner x

Boymum910 · 23/11/2023 07:20

@MammyAng84 im the same scan date as you, I haven’t received a text but called on Tuesday and a decision was made that day, you should have a decision by now surely x

Ilovemychildren123 · 23/11/2023 07:24

@Anonymousks1984 i have had a payment this morning for COC scanned 15th June x

DanniiB1983 · 23/11/2023 07:49

I'm glad to see they're now mid June for COC. I'm 30/6, hopefully not too much longer.

Congratulations on your award

Mummyof5kiddos · 23/11/2023 07:57

@Hardingcl did you write a note on your journal asking for back pay under payment? I did and they responded within an hour saying they will verify the child and send it to see how far back they can back pay from

CHS100288 · 23/11/2023 07:59

@Cdanielle29 I'm the 21/7 and have called twice this week and not been with a CM or DM! X

crazytimes20 · 23/11/2023 09:15

Good luck everyone calling today. Hope it's all good news. I'm 17 wks and 2 days. Can't see me hearing anything till the beginning of December to be honest.

Shilli84 · 23/11/2023 09:19

crazytimes20 · 22/11/2023 21:33

25/7
Don't think I will hear anything till next week now. The waiting is awful.

No I definitely don’t think so either. Think I might call Tuesday when it’s exactly 18 weeks and see if it is with a decision maker yet 🤞

Mammyzzzzz · 23/11/2023 09:21

27/7 scan date
Just called fastest time ever took 15 mins she said it's taking 18 weeks to go to a c/m so expect another 2 to 3 weeks this waiting is so long 🙄

JustAboutRM · 23/11/2023 09:22

scan date 20/7
called Tuesday and it had gone to DM that day.. fx I hear soon!

cocoapple · 23/11/2023 09:25

@Mammyzzzzz 2-3 weeks after it’s gone to a cm or 2-3 weeks for your decision?

Mammyzzzzz · 23/11/2023 09:27

2/3 week for a decision she said it hasn't been looked at yet.

Rocketlollies2 · 23/11/2023 09:29

19/07 scan date
been with DM since Monday, still no decision this morning.

crazytimes20 · 23/11/2023 09:37

@Shilli84 yes I'm going to do the same. I'll ring next Tuesday and see what's going on. Didn't see the point in bringing before the 18 wks as they'll only tell me to wait. I just can't believe how long it takes.
