last week I contacted them with additional info and posted off paperwork last week, does anyone know what will happen if the info isn’t scanned in before it is picked up for review?

and then a text at 6.03pm today to say awarded!
will have to wait till the morning to find out the rate.

I’m abit confused/ happy I checked my bank this afternoon and I can see a payment coming in from DWP by the amount I assume it’s the DLA back payment but I was told it wouldn’t be till December time. I’m just worried as I haven’t had any letter to state award and the dates of the award exactly in fact I have never received any letters from them just two texts about a month ago.

I got a text from DWP at 8.30pm the other day (PIP related) When I was a civil servant, we would often do overtime till 8pm, plus we worked flexible time. Phones still close at 5pm as usual apart from Self Assessment lines at peak times AFAIK.

That’s identical dates to our claim…. Same scan and text dates as well Ive sent a lot of evidence of diagnosis and reports but I’m worried it’s a no. We are in Berkshire I’m just wondering if it is all completed under a postcode lottery as well

Hi everyone who is still waiting in July please as can't wait till they start doing near 1.8 as that my daughter scan date so can give her a nice Christmas and replace her nintendo switch what she broke and her tab what she broke too today as she had a bad day at school and took it out at home .

My DD has mentally drained me today.This morning was really bad as usual wouldn't brush her teeth get dressed.Begging me to stay home and telling me she has a bad head and wants to stay home.I managed to get her in.She came home screaming the house down she had flooded the bathroom again (normally for her)for once it wasn't coming through ceiling.She has put toilet roll all up stairs all over bathroom emptied all the shampoos in the sink as normal.She went in my sons things and got his paper scissors cut her barbies hair her hair and her clothing.She just cried for hours.She refused to brush her teeth again I had to hold her to brush them as she wouldn't do them this morning.I couldn't wait until she was sleeping she's trashed my house she would have had my otyer faughters makeup.if I didn't catch her.Shes like this anyway but normally I'm not drained but it's just i am today.Shes sobbusy she never cuts stuff coz I keep scissors away form her coz the amount of times she's cut her hair in school.Today was hard she's told me she's not going to school.tomorrow so can see it being another hard day.Sorry for the rant lol

Can anyone tell me how long the UC are to get back regarding the back pay of dla child element? I only put it on this morning, then I change caring for someone (although I won't receive carers element as my earning are over the threshold)
Then it came back asking me to do my commitments so I did. But I haven't received any other messages.
I called UC and she said I'd done it properly. Just wondering on the time frame

My scan date was 16/08/23 so we’re getting close I think. Fingers crossed.
