I'm still also learning my son has no diagnosis school have put down learning delays and major SPD his on a list for a peadetrician. Once your son gets a diagnosis the school will have to be more understanding. Aww I wish things do get easier I could imagine how hard it must be ur doing ur very best as a mom trying to get the right support in place for ur son x @Purple69

2nd text 16/10
i have no idea what the decision will be my daughter (10) is type 1 diabetic.

Thanks hun I hope ur little one gets sorted soon sounds just like mine so u will soon get that diagnosis and it’s heart breaking when u do but at least u will then be able to understand more I think my boy only got diagnosed so young as he is high end on spectrum he only been walking for last 8 months and he still can’t use steps but at first we was told they didn’t think he would so where happy with that improvement he was very delayed in everything he don’t even respond to his name and can’t understand anything said to him to this day it really gusts at a mum when u can’t help he is very sensory as a baby he pulled my hair out to play with it now he is almost 4 and he licks my hair to get get to sleep or licks your face but u know what I wouldn’t change my boy I got him this way for a reason💙I hope u get everything u deserve and everyone else on here it’s a hard job being a mum it’s twice as hard when they have a disability xx

As for my 12 year old I don’t hold any faith I think when it get missed and they get older people just think there just naughty kids not the case tho but hopefully once he gets the adhd screening test we will start getting the right help the first appointment was ok they told me they can clearly see adhd and he needs calming down but the next waiting list is long😩this is way we was hoping he would get some help from dla so we can go private xx

Aww hun I can’t imagine what ur going through it’s tipped me over the edge my 3 year old is 24 hour care and the 12 year old just explodes at anything or smashes everything up or if he goes out he’s on train tracks he very impulsive behaviour am only just getting my head around the 3 year old with asd hope ur ok x

Hey. My scan date was 9/8, but only had the one text on 13/11.
It seems everyone else has had another text way earlier than me... It took 13 weeks for me to get my first one? Anyone else?
I've spent 3.5 hours on hold today and gave up. I work every morning so can't call in the mornings 🙄

@mumandchefandallsorts do not beleive anything they say on the phone😃, that why i dont call them, i rather rely on this forum, until i get an anwser, they telling peoples all sort of différents things; i will only call them if i reach 20 weeks, am at 17th week now.

I sent my claim by post. When do I find out if I actually received it?
I just don't trust it to not get lost and lose loads of time.

@Newtonianmechanics hi, I never heard from them until I rang them 4 weeks after I sent it. They then sent me a letter out and I received it a week later I think it was. The guy over the phone told me my scan date.

We have a similar scan date. I'm worried I didn't get a text until 2 weeks ago 😔

Yeah, I put a post on a group on Facebook and someone said 13th June they had been awarded today from COC mines 22nd so I’m thinking end of next week maybe Friday or over weekend so I’m going to ring next Friday to see if it’s gone x

Yeah and update us after if you could please, I’m hoping it’s done before Christmas currently on MRC but she’s 5 in December but her care changed so hoping I’ve sent enough to prove HRC LRM

@Raych1989 mine took the longest after the DM message they said it went to a DM on the 1st and the DM replied on the 20th, hopefully yours will be quicker though x

Hi, been following a couple weeks now, anyone with the same dates as me? I've seen awards being given from scan dates in July, so fingers crossed im not too far behind.
Scan date: 17.08
1st text: 23.10
2nd text: 13.11
Applied for both my children X

@Mumof6boys1girl We have the same dates exactly, when I called to make sure they'd recieved it (we had a few issues) i was told its taking 17 weeks. But I'm thinking more 19 weeks after following this thread X

@Ellmay1820 I called today and I was told another 4 weeks my scan date it 14/08

Had my secind text 7/11 forgot to add.I sent off some evidence today as I didn't send nothing off just a litter from my dd youth worker stating what she is like as she's known her since birth
