since applying has been refered for ADHD assessment.

I'm East Midlands do and scan date of 10/8, had 2 texts (mid October abs a week or so ago) ... everything crossed for you all for your children

Are there two different addresses to send the forms to? One if you print it out and another if they send you an envelope/form?

@Asdmummyhere nope nothing at all 😏 I applied for carers allowance Thursday so will prob have that before I even hear back from them I bet 🤞x

@Asdmummyhere i was just about to wake @Mummyrach13 the same thing, as in the 15th I informed them that my girl is now in receipt of HRC, on the 18th I receive a message to say she’s been verified and they’re sending it to see if it can be backdated and I asked how long the process takes to then receive a message today to say “Hi
There is no exact timeframe when a decision has been made, they will update you in the journal.”

so I was wondering if @Mummyrach13 has heard anything through UC too x

@Billie1993 @Mummyrach13 the communication is awful from uc honestly. I've put 2 messages on this week and had no reply. I don't even know if my boys dla has been verified just assuming it has because my appointment was cancelled x

Yeah I got the same message @Billie1993 and nothing since. Another waiting game isn’t it! Just strange how again there’s no set protocol of how it’s looked at as others after have had there’s! I updated mine 3 Weeks ago xx

They didn’t let me know it had been verified either @Asdmummyhere just appt cancelled! I think the lack of communication makes it the worst. X

@Ollysmomma i called last week as im waiting on a report from educational psychologist ( probably another week before i get it ) but dla told me to still send it in and if a decision had been made already it would go back to DM with that information and they would re award, which makes me think it may be a decline next week until they have the report 😵‍💫

@DeathbyJedi when you hear I can begin to know they're moving towards me 😂 I think im the latest scan date on this thread. I'm loving seeing these lovely people finally get answers though after waiting all these months. Angry for the people getting declined. You get emotionally invested as you know the struggles x

Scan date 14/07. Still waiting been with the DM since last wed, I am so happy for those who have heard already. But when I see a later date than mine, it is infuriating and frustrating. I am just about done with the whole process.

You have same scan date as me, I rang Friday just gone and they said it had also been with DM since the Wed and it usually takes 7 days but someone else on here was told 10 days with DM. The wait is dreadful!

@Mummyof5kiddos I guess it depends on what info they already have to make a decision, eg they could just award you at a lower rate until further evidence is reviewed? Hopefully we’re over the worst now and be given a decision soon.
As lots of people have already said the system needs updating to cope with the demand ! Best of luck to you this week, keep us posted? Xx

@Asdmummyhere sorry to jump om your comments, and I hope you don't mind me asking but is that for actual carers allowance or is this the CA through UC? I don't claim UC but unsure on how to claim carers allowance If my son qualifies for DLA I'm calling for an update this week scan date 26/7, did you do it online or is it like DLA you have to send forms off and wait for an answer? Sorry this is all so new to me

@Mrsstephens04 hey hun, no of course i don't mind. It's carers allowance and you apply online via gov.com. You can't earn more than £139 a week to claim it though. I don't work so didn't have to send anything off but u may have to send payslips in if you're working. I found it straightforward and extremely quick. Was very surprised receiving back pay after only a week. Good luck with dla, the wait is exhausting. Hope you hear soon x

@Ollysmomma i hope so, it’s such a long process and stressful wait to then be declined. Good luck to you too, hopefully this will all be over this time next week 🤞 let me know if you hear anything? I’m going to call Wednesday, dead on 18 weeks, surely they will know by then
