@Anniemumof3 another 2 weeks 😩
I'm scan date 21/07

AgaLaura2Olivia · 22/11/2023 11:36

@Hardingcl I'm 18/7 still waiting

Purple69 · 22/11/2023 11:38

mumoftwoxxx · 22/11/2023 10:39

@Purple69 I will keep my fingers crossed for you, My sons diagnosed adhd, as well as autism traits (he's waiting on autism assessment atm, waiting lists are soo bad) and motor tics. We've been under the community paeds since he was 3/4 years old, I struggled so much then with zero support I wasn't even aware I could apply for dla, it would be such a big help, wished I knew sooner tbf. I sent with the claim , at the time the most recent letter from them which highlights all of his difficulties as well as their observation of him on the day. Would it be worth sending in more written evidence from myself? I don't want to delay it any further 🙈 I've convinced myself I didn't put/send enough and will be rejected. Despite being nearly 7 my sons needs are more than my just turned 5yr old, he's quite intense love him lol x

Mine is 12 never had any help he just had a first appointment at Chams there saying he now needs to be seen by the adhd team he is very impulsive behaviour he currently
expelled from school for walking in a class room telling everyone to put there hands up it’s a robbery with a plastic gun! Am mortified as a mum he also had urology problems where that’s diagnosed he has never had a dry night as accidents sometimes in day he where’s pulls which we get off the nurses and netted pants and a protective cup in the day he is very behind with his learning which is a massive worry for me working at a 7 year old I just feel like there is no help out there he has 3 different behaviour people involved but basically I could only send a letter off the behaviour women and wrote in he has been referred to clams but he got his first appointment last Monday so I don’t think he will get anything from dla hope ur little one gets the help xx

Mdavies2023 · 22/11/2023 11:41

Updates UC and had a message saying I need to redeclare my children and that my daughter who's the one who has been awarded couldn't be verified? So strange! Any one else had this? All I did was update that she's in receipt of DLA now nothing else

Hardingcl · 22/11/2023 11:48

@AgaLaura2Olivia good luck chic. I got tex this morning MRC LRM till June 2025.
Mine got passed to CM last Friday so took 3 working days. The lady on the phone this morning said they allow themselves 3-5 working days from date they receive it to complete.
Hope you hear something soon xxx

Anniemumof3 · 22/11/2023 11:53

I know I was really hoping would be any day another two weeks feels like forever so much for 15 weeks then so much for 18 weeks haha xx

AgaLaura2Olivia · 22/11/2023 11:56

@Hardingcl I called yesterday with DM hopefully this week I'll get an award too. Congratulations

FJVH · 22/11/2023 12:04

So when I spoke to someone on Friday they said that my date had been changed and unfortunately they couldn’t do anything about it. I spoke to them on Monday they said it was between the 20/7 and 27/7 so should find out by the 24/11
Rang yesterday, spoke to a lady and she said it’s 20/7 but hasn’t been looked at yet, and I’m waiting roughly two weeks.
Honestly I think it’s good to be persistent in phoning x

Holly0209 · 22/11/2023 12:06

@FJVH did she say it was with DM when you called yesterday or still in a pile? I’m one day after you

MammyAng84 · 22/11/2023 12:06

I’m resisting the urge to ring as I rang yesterday & wasn’t even with a Dm yet but the longer it goes on the more I’m leaning to a decline for him

Mumof2boys1girly · 22/11/2023 12:07

Exactly same as mine x

FJVH · 22/11/2023 12:11

She said it was still in a pile, and doesn’t think it’ll be looked at until the following week

MammyAng84 · 22/11/2023 12:17

Is anyone still waiting for 20th July r just me left 😭😭

Anniemumof3 · 22/11/2023 12:18

@MammyAng84 me said with case manager since yesterday but be another 10 to 14 days grrr x

Sabz30 · 22/11/2023 12:19

Im still waiting from 19/07.

MammyAng84 · 22/11/2023 12:20

Basically what they said to me last week & yesterday, aim is 18 1/2 weeks to go to Dm which is massive difference from the 15 weeks they tell u xx

MammyAng84 · 22/11/2023 12:21

Hopefully it’s our turns next 🤞🏻

Zdjekkq · 22/11/2023 12:24

@Tammie23 fingers crossed it’s soon. I’ve been able to completely ignore the wait until now, but we hit that 15 weeks time and now I’m anxious😂

MangoPepsiLover · 22/11/2023 12:24

@MammyAng84 19/07 here still waiting, it was with DM when I rang yesterday. I'm not ringing again as they said it could take 14 days to be decided by DM.

I think it's a decline so I'm just leaving it.

Clairexdx · 22/11/2023 12:25

Any idea how to get uc to reply to msgs? Thanks

Looloo12332 · 22/11/2023 12:26

Scan date is 14/08 in hold to see if I have time to send evidence off probably have plenty though
😄

Emma2345 · 22/11/2023 12:32

Hi does anyone know exactly how long it’s roughly taking for a decision I no I’m miles away from one as I only sent the form back to them monday for my second child I already receive dla for one of my children due to breathing that was a claim made in march and got awarded in July so roughly about 16-17 weeks waiting is this roughly the same time scales 😂? Also does anyone think this sounds good from the school it’s only been done by the nursery manager not been done by SENCO although he is on SEND register at school I have sent peaditriton letters from 2 different paediatricians with both same feelings and concerns (possible ASD) along with my claim it’s for my nearly 3 year old he can’t communicate awaiting social communication pathway at age 3 for asd diagnosis and awaiting speech and language appointment as he failed for everything communication wise he is currently 32 months old working at age 1 year old so he is almost 2 years delayed in a lot of aspects doesn’t interact with anyone physically violent doesn’t like loud noises screams all the time bites hits throws objects smashes tv’s throwing things hand flaps and covers ears very sensory excetra I’m just wondering if i should also get a letter from HV to go along with all these reports as. I feel school didn’t really go into to much detail he needs constant supervision both day and night as he has no danger awareness and attacks his younger brother and older sister does not sleep at night if he does I’m lucky if it’s for an hour or 2 then he is awake for the rest of the night and day , does this seem like I would possibly get it as I’m just worried due to his age with him being 2 almost 3 , he is 3 in march so by the time it does get looked at he will probably of turned 3 and would of been excepted on social communication pathway do you think all of this is enough information as I don’t have nothing else evidence wise or would a letter from HV help as well ? Thanks In advance the stress is unreal and the wait is horrible as I already went thru this with my other little one not long ago but the extra money would help out massively as I’m currently paying for Nursey to try and better his interaction and speech and will also help out with travel and other expenses.

Rocketlollies2 · 22/11/2023 12:38

I'm 19/07 still waiting, given to DM on Monday..

Looloo12332 · 22/11/2023 12:49

Emma sounds like the 2 letters will be enough.I only sent 1 letter off for my son 2 years saying he is waiting ASD and got awarded
