@Hardingcl im routing for you today, I hope you hear something, not sure they send many texts out but surely a decision has been made by now

19/07 still waiting, Man yesterday said I probably won't get a text so I just need to look out in my bank/for a letter. I think it'll be a decline.

Will call again Monday if I've heard nothing.

Need to get into work mode today but my heads spinning from something someone told me earlier, my DD lost her glasses (again!) and I didn't sleep well anyway. Argh. On the train on my way to the office, how long I'll last who knows

My scan date is 28/7 just keep getting told I’m in holding pile and to phone again friday it’s so frustrating listening to that music for so long 🙈

I managed to get straight through this morning with no hold music first time ever!! Spoke to a lovely lady shabs or shaz I want to say her name was, she said I'm il be with a decision maker in approx 10 days time scan date 26/7 I will probably still phone again before then 🤣 I might hold out until Monday which will be 5 weeks exactly from my 2nd text

Just called got straight through. Spoke to a lovely lady Christine who explained everything and was very sympathetic! She said she would keep an eye on it for me.

5 minutes later I had a tex 'YOUR CHILD QUALIFIES!!!!!!! Omg I literally cannot believe. I am in shock, although I know how helpful this will be for my daughter after such a long wait I had resided myself to the fact it was going to get declined!!!

Good luck to everyone today. Keep fighting. I'm just on hold to find out rates!

@Mummyof5kiddos Hi, My pending balance is £2010 but that’s back dated from 20th June when I rang for the forms. That includes the £10 Xmas bonus.

How long after the scan date does people recieve first text message ?
So far I have only recived 1 letter 2 weeks after my scan date to say they have my claim no other response as of yet and still haven't sent the birth certificate back 🙃

@Hardingcl when you get a chance call and tell them you’ve had a meeting with them today and your waiting for the report from it to come through, they will put it on as a note, it may help.
@MangoPepsiLover good luck both of you but keep checking your banks my back payment is supposed to go in thu / fri and your both around my day so surely your decision must have been made by now

I keep getting cut of after the options 🫤 tried a good few time so I will try again later , I only need to sort out my scan dates as I’ve got 2 applications pending but scan dates are apparently a whole month apart when they was sent together ???

Has anyone recently applied for carers allowance after being awarded? How long does that take to be approved?
(Not UC related at all, as I’m not eligible due to husbands wage.)

@Mumma3girls Hey, I applied for it yesterday, it says to wait 6 weeks but I’ve seen some people awarded in a week so hoping it’s not to long

My scan date was 14/8 so still a while to go yet by the looks of it🫣 If we get awarded it will make such a difference to DS life, so nervous!

Your the same date as me as I’m also 15 weeks tomorrow
it says you should get a decision within 15 weeks so they’ve got to expect we’re gonna be phoning and wanting to know what’s going on
18 weeks is so long and absolutely ridiculous
I really hope they start catching up and bringing these times down it’s very stressful

I have been following this thread for a while and decided to sign up and comment. Scan date 24th August, text dates 31/10 & 21/11... Anxiously waiting, also questioning whether i put enough to explain my sons needs. 🙄 good luck everyone

Scan date 20/7 - rang yesterday and it was with DM - praying I hear soon!

worrying I didn’t send enough evidence! My son has ASD and I sent his diagnosis paperwork, also letters from his allergy pad and asthma paed but I didn’t get anything from school.. will that matter? So anxious

Mine was 10 weeks after scan date I got the first message then 3 weeks after the second message xx
