Congrats to all the awards this morning 🙂.

I've woken to a load of money in my account. I'm amazed and overwhelmed. Scanned 17/7 so 18 weeks and 1 day. No text and no letter .... I've not posted before but this thread has helped a lot in the past few weeks.... really good luck to everyone, I know we've all got kids who need extra and I know how hard that is..

Is any 19/7 calling today? I called yesterday and was with DM but cant call until tomorrow now

Nothing here either, it's def a decline I think. I am devastated

18 weeks today. Was with CM yesterday so going to call at 9am. Praying for positive outcome xx

@roki same! I don't think we are going to hear anything till next week. It's driving me crazy. I just want to know.

@RainbowZebraWarrior EDS has been mentioned but that won't show up on tests I don't think? It was a condition very similar though that would show up on tests.

@Raych1989 Just to jump on with the UC back pay. I think it’s total pot luck, I have been very lucky timescale wise. I got DLA award Friday 17th and reported it to UC same day and requested back pay. Then it was the weekend and on Monday 20th had a note on Journal to say yes all agreed with a letter with the amount owed on and a note to say it will be in my bank tomorrow Wednesday 22nd so 5 days in total from reporting to receiving the funds.

I’m trying to hold out some hope. 14/7. 18 weeks 4 days. Iv seen some wait til 20 weeks. Not that I want that but 😩 I just wanna know! X

Called got through to Andrew who wasn't helpful at all. Said it's 18 weeks today and claims are taking 18 weeks so should hear something soon as it's in the pile waiting to be looked at and a letter will be sent. I said can I receive a tex message he said its normally by letter??! That phone call doesn't give me much hope 😪

@Jude82 Thank you for that. I'm just hoping it's not weeks. It will be 3 weeks Friday so hopefully it will be sorted sooner rather than later x

i’ve rang this morning for an update for my son.
scan date 20/7
she said it went to the DM today and that I should hear within the week so we’ll see

I’ve noticed some of you are mentioning informing UC when you’ve been awarded DLA.. is that something I have to do?

Ah, I see. Yes, Hypermobile EDS doesn't have a genetic test, yet (other variants of it do, though) My daughter and I both have it plus dyspraxia and Autism along with Autoimmune conditions is why I asked.

@crazytimes20 . i know doesnt make sense at all! to wait all this time and then get a decline is so heartbteaking so let wait and see we might start seeing peoples around 25/7 . and dont even want to call as it is pointless

i have the same scan date as you both and I called yesterday. I was told it wasn’t with a DM as of yet and she gave 2 weeks wait as an estimated timescale and to try calling back again then if I still hadn’t heard anything.

my last text was 23/10 so I am hoping that (if accepted) it follows the pattern of 5 weeks since last text and we’re awarded next week 🤞🏼

@Hardingcl oh no! I hate it when there not helpful 🙄 I wish they would just agree to send out texts when the decision has been made it would make things so much easier
