Oh wow there’s still a few of us waiting for decisions @Hardingcl @Sabz30 @MammyAng84 @MangoPepsiLover @AgaLaura2Olivia @Geegee1506 @Alybird77 I really want to call again now I know it’s with DM but I’m going to have to hold off til Wednesday now, absolutely dreading waiting for a text to come through incase it’s bad news. @Alybird77 i can’t believe your still waiting from Friday, I hope you get your decision really soon. 17/7 seem to all be awarded from what I’ve seen and they’ve started the 18/7 today 🤞 we don’t have to wait much longer. I will keep you updated when I call next or receive a text 😊

@Asdmummyhere @MinnieL thanks for your responses. I think I just need to chill, UC have just explained on another journal note to me that it’s because I was awarded 0 UC in May-June due to my husbands annual work bonus 🤭🫣

Yup the bloke basically said another 2 weeks wait & if the case in front of mine is harder & needs more responses off drs etc then that will delay but if I’m lucky I could b at the top. There’s nothing lucky about having to wait 18-20 weeks for an answer 🫣

@MammyAng84 no way can your wait be that long, I think they just like to say what they want until they can see it’s with a DM, I would imagine you would hear something by Friday maybe Monday because they seems to be doing 18/7 today

They told me last Tuesday to expect t to b at Dm by last Friday now today he saying another week at least possibly 2. Wish they would all say the same as it’s confusing & annoying expecting an answer to then be told nope try again next week

After an hour and a half on hold, I got through to someone who confirmed that last week my son was awarded the Middle Care Component backdated to 30 May and the Higher Mobility Component (from his 3rd birthday).

Phoned for DLA form: 30 May
Scan date: 11 July
Decision date: 15 Nov (18 weeks and one day)

@MumofIsabelle 13/7 😞 I hope you hear something soon, this waiting is so stressful, especially when we have to spend hours waiting just to talk to someone. Fingers crossed you get a text by the end of the day

I'm 17/7 and still waiting. Called on Friday and told it wasn't with DM yet. Tried this morning multiple times and kept getting cut off. Just hoping I receive a text soon 🤞

I’m 14/7 still waiting called this morning. Still with a dm from last weds. I’m so thinking it’s a decline x

@MammyAng84 I know what you mean, i called twice last week, one said 18-20 weeks before it would go to DM then the other said i would hear something this week, the person i spoke to today, ive never spoken to before she was really helpful, told me it was with DM before I even asked, added things on my claim form, she was really positive, I just wish i remembered to ask them for a text when they make there decision. As soon as you see the 19/7 being awarded you won’t be far behind

I cannot believe it- 17/07/23 just got off phone they’ve awarded my son on 18/11/23

@politics31 i would try and call again today, there’s a lot of 17/7 that’s been awarded over the weekend and this morning. Good luck

21/7 scan date. Rang this morning still not with dm. My anxiety is going through the roof, checking my texts constantly.
Fingers crossed not long soon

@Mummyof5kiddos I've managed to get myself on hold, hoping to make it to speak to someone and not get cut off. Good job I don't need to do the school run today (although I've already been up there 4 times today so I don't feel bad!). Good luck to those waiting, fingers crossed for quick, positive decisions.

@Raych1989, @Asdmummyhere I’ve had a letter on my journal to say they will backdate so just got to wait now for a case manager to action it. So may have another wait x

Scan date 2/8 she said its not with a cm yet, that would be 1st week of Dec so looking to hear the 2nd or 3rd week of Dec... I'm hoping that by ringing I will have the luck that others have had of hearing sooner!
Now I need to switch my brain off from obsessing about it 😬

I've been trying for WEEKS because I work full time and can't stay on hold for hours sob

@HomeEdmumof7 I'm 31/7 maybe I'm looking at the same timeframe. I spoke to someone on Friday she wasn't very nice but told me looking at 3 more weeks.🙈
