DLA Wait times part 20… (2023)

Following on from part 19 as it’s about to become full.

I've been on hold an hour and 20 so far. Really hoping there's some news but I would hold my breath. Scan date 18/7

After being on hold for 1hr 26 mins I spoke to a lovely lady who told me that it's not with a dm yet and it should be next week at some point and not to call back untill the beginning of December!! Oh and to keep an eye on my online banking. I'm so fed up of waiting for this long not knowing if its been awarded or not it's actually driving me mad!!

1 hour 20 for me, still not with a decision maker. I'm really fed up 18/7

Scan date, 13/07 don't know whether its worth calling has anyone had a decision from this date yet? Just hate waiting over and hour and a half to be told the same thing. Getting very impatient now. Congrats on everyone getting awarded. Xox

Ridiculous! Finally got through after 1hour and 20 mins
My scan dates 12/07, apparently its not even with a C/M or D/M still sitting in a pile to be looked at next week! I really don't get the system. He said I won't hear back for 2 weeks yet

It makes no sense to me how people with later dates or getting answers before people with early dates, it must all depend on who’s pile u land on & wether they work full or part time

Anyone had any texts yet decisions awards? Xxxxx

Mine said it’s with decision maker as of yesterday but the decision maker it’s with is actually in today…so try calling back late on or tomorrow! I feel like a pest ringing up again hahahab but I know all them don’t have facility to text but it seems awfully quiet today xxxxxxxx

Another 50 mins on hold just to be cut off 😭 😡 I swear to god I am raging, sorry to moan today but that’s 2 hours of my life and for absolutely nothing! 😢

Anyone know what means when they say your in a particular pile that will get looked at next week. What do these piles mean
I think its unfair how my scan dates the 12th and not even anywhere near with a DM

@Rebeccanew my scan date is 18/7 they said its not with decision maker yet, that was yesterday. I'm thinking end of this week beginning of next for me. I'm gonna ring Friday morning xx

@Hardingcl anything can happen hun mine wasn’t with a decision maker at 9 yesterday morning but went with decision a hour after…when I called to check address they told me…anything can happen hun xxxxxx

Scan date 25/7. This is awful! The last few weeks are the worst. I've not phoned at all as I can't see it being looked at till the end of the month. Although a few with later dates are being awarded. It's so stressful. Should be an online system you can go on and check.

@Sockbabies did you put a note on your journal requesting back pay? I did Thursday and only got a message today saying they've sent the request for disability element and carers element to be backdated from 6/8 and to wait for a response. My award date is 12/7 so I've replied back but obviously not heard anything 🙄 x
