Following on from part 19 as it’s about to become full.

@Melliee sorry only just seen your message , been out all morning food shopping etc. Thank you , I will deffo let you know if I do! Nothing yet unfortunately, think I'm gonna hold off calling today and try again in the morning xxx

Just came off phone they said the decision maker who mine went to is in today! And they can see I requested a text..and to call back maybe later today or tomorrow same as yesterday really 😴 xxxxxxx

I'm trying to ring but 3 times I've gone through all the menus, got a horrid noise and then been cut off. Got hold music now thankfully

Reading the comments this morning makes me so frustrated for each and every person waiting. If it’s not being cut off, sitting on hold for hours, being told inconsistent things or just being on the end of a rude and inconsiderate person it’s the stress of actually waiting for a decision that means a lot to each child it’s being claimed for. They say 15 weeks! They say to call! They have a lot to answer for let’s be honest. We all know they are short staffed but ultimately they are wrong staffed! I don’t know who they think they are questioning the viability of any child’s needs or how they are managed @Mumof3specialkids@Mumofepilepsy , that’s disgusting. It’s just complete lack of empathy and understanding in what is already an incredibly stressful, emotional and personal journey! I am with every one of you on here ❤️ and hope for the right decisions for your children asap! x

@Keddie mine went to a cm on Friday morning by Friday lunch a decision was made I had to phone on Monday to find out as I didn't receive a text! Good luck!

@Mommaof2babas Thank you! What was your scan date? I have not helped myself as I was late sending in extra evidence and called them last week to say its on the way so until they rec that I wont get looked at xx

I gave in and am currently on hold 20 mins so far

Oh no 😩 I was crossing everything that you would have your award this morning. I’m not sure how to play it now. Do I ring at lunchtime as planned or wait until later today? Or do I leave it and ring tomorrow instead? 🙈 x

As long as your mum is eligible for carers allowance then she can claim it. This will have no impact on you claiming the carers element for your son on UC.

If your mum has a UC claim then just inform her that carers allowance will get deducted pound for pound from her UC

Gave in and called for an update. 33 mins on hold then music stopped … yep you guessed it….call got cut off 😤 😡 👋 🤨

I've had 2 missed calls from an 0800 umber Google it and its the dwp I couldn't answer so I'm assuming it's the DM no message left but they tried twice one after the other I was with a customer. Got a text straight after saying sons been awarded I cant believe it scan date 27/7. So that woman this morning said it wasn't with a DM and would be 18 weeks so just shows. I'm going to ring this afternoon to see what he's been awarded wish I could of answered the phone as they would of told me then. Good luck everyone
