@Jude82 that's really bad isn't it!!! I seen a comment on the last thread that someone kept getting cut off so they put there number as withheld and they got straight through to the queue!!

Clairexdx · 17/11/2023 10:25

@Lauren2121 i haven’t been awarded hun. My scan date was 14/7 last text 9/10. 18 weeks today. Been told all sorts this week. As Iv called pretty much everyday lol. But yest the lady wasn’t the most helpful. I was told on mon that it will be done anytime this week. So I was hoping x

Jaysworld · 17/11/2023 10:37

@Mommaof2babas I have just tried ringing of withheld and I am through to the holding queue! I wonder if they have blocked my number somehow🤣 I have only called once before so that’s really cheeky!

Krys83 · 17/11/2023 10:39

@Jude82 think you might be right, I've withheld my number and I'm now in the queue. I tried 5 times without it being withheld and it kept cutting off. Thanks for tip 🙂

Mommaof2babas · 17/11/2023 10:44

@Jaysworld @Krys83 it's crazy isn't it!!!! Good luck!

Jaysworld · 17/11/2023 10:46

@Mommaof2babas it really is! I wonder why that happens, thank you for the tip xx

Krys83 · 17/11/2023 10:48

Clairexdx · 17/11/2023 11:02

Mumof4xox · 17/11/2023 11:09

Hey ladies, have been following this thread for a while. I phoned this morning and was told it will go to DM next week. We have a scan date of 17/07

Mumma3girls · 17/11/2023 11:14

I’m on hold too…. Can’t take another weekend of wondering. Hope I get someone helpful…

Laniewith3boys · 17/11/2023 11:17

Hi everyone,

iv been silently watching for a few weeks my scan date is 13/07/23. I called on 25th October as I had a general query about my sons claim, lady I spoke to was lovely and had a look and said my claim was in holding queue and I should go to decision maker within 3 weeks. She said call back week commencing 13th November. I rang Tuesday to be told was with case manager and to give them call towards end of the week. I rang yesterday as it’s exactly 18 weeks for me and after a 2 hour wait I spoke to an awful woman who pretty much said everything I had been told was incorrect!!! According to her it’s been with a Decision Maker in a pile since it was scanned and it will get looked and when it’s my turn!!! Don’t call again you will get a text or a letter!!! I came off the phone quite annoyed and upset. I’m not calling again as it’s such a long wait and I can’t bare the feeling to speak to someone so unkind, she made me feel like I had caused her inconvenience by asking her to do her job :( I’m hoping I hear soon but time will tell. I’m Newcastle area. Well done to everyone that has been awarded and good luck to everyone waiting xx

Jude82 · 17/11/2023 11:18

@Mommaof2babas its so bad!! You are a legend though! Who knew withholding your number was a hack. They can’t fool us! 🤪 Good luck @Krys83 and @Jaysworld now you are in the Q! 🙏🏻

Clairexdx · 17/11/2023 11:21

Got through at 1 hour 47 lol. Still no decision yet. She said it takes up to 10 days once with a dm. But shouldn’t be too much longer 😬😩😩 another weekend of not knowing
18 weeks today 14/7 x

Jude82 · 17/11/2023 11:24

@Laniewith3boys what a miserable witch you got! 🧙‍♀️ We should start taking the names of these rude ones because they should be held accountable for bad attitude and giving incorrect information or no information as is sometimes the case. Are there no call listening or quality checks done at the DWP or what?! 😤
Hope you hear soon, I’m also Newcastle 27/07 and it doesn’t go to a DM as soon as it’s scanned, that’s bull but atleast you know it is with one I suppose.

Holly0209 · 17/11/2023 11:26

1 hour 50 mins on hold. Not with DM yet. scan date 21/07

Mrsstephens04 · 17/11/2023 11:28

1hr 20 on hold so far calling for an update (again) 🤣 scan date 26/7

Mumma3girls · 17/11/2023 11:30

@Mrsstephens04 same scan date and on hold too….

crazytimes20 · 17/11/2023 11:35

@Mumma3girls @Mrsstephens04 keep us updated on what they say. I'm scan 25/7.

Laniewith3boys · 17/11/2023 11:38

@Jude82 thank you she really was just awful, I honestly would never dream of speaking to anyone that way, I mean it’s their jobs and they get paid to answer the phone for goodness sake!!!! I’m hoping for a decision soon but have a feeling it will be next week now which is frustrating as I have waited patiently for the 18 weeks….personally I think they should create a online portal for status updates and that would free up the calls and people would know where they are, good luck for your claim I hope you hear soon xx

Mrsstephens04 · 17/11/2023 11:43

@Mumma3girls good luck if you get through before me this wait is killing me!
@crazytimes20 I'm sure we will both be told completely different things on the phone but I will definitely update once I've got through

Marie984 · 17/11/2023 11:43

Hey… does anyone know roughly how long MR are taking? Thanks

crazytimes20 · 17/11/2023 11:58

@Mrsstephens04 yes, that is very true. Good luck. Think I'm going to ring next Tuesday as I'll be 17 wks then.

Jaysworld · 17/11/2023 11:59

I was on hold for 1 hour and 20 mins, a lovely lady answered, it’s a decline unfortunately 😢 I don’t think I can go through the whole appeal process and the wait again! My scan date was 5/7 x

Mrsstephens04 · 17/11/2023 12:15

1hr 56m on hold 😵‍💫 had a lovely lady answer who said claims from 23-28/7SHOULD be with decision makers next week they are managing to get through claims alot quicker now as they have changed the way they are looking at them apparently to get decisions made faster she's put me on to receive a text if approved although a text is now guaranteed but supposedly they have sent out more letters to people explaining the wait times are taking longer ect I asked about the 15 weeks and phoning for an update and her words where "they should explain the letters better, it takes around 15 weeks for it to be assigned for someone to look at it then a further 2 weeks they have on top to actually make a decision so the whole process does generally take 17-18 weeks giving the weekends and if extra time is needed" but she assured me I'd have a decision by the end of the first week in December at the very latest!
@crazytimes20
@Mumma3girls did you manage to get through?
