Sending positive luck to all you guys today 🤞❤️

Mummyof5kiddos · 17/11/2023 07:01

@sweetdevil90 congratulations that’s amazing news, there seems to be so many 27/7 being awarded recently, what was your last text date?

Mumzieof1 · 17/11/2023 07:12

Ah OK thanks, I may not even bother today then. The 18.5 I was told would take it till next week anyway. Hope everyone hears something soon.

sweetdevil90 · 17/11/2023 07:14

@Mummyof5kiddos it's strange, there does seem a lot of 27/7, but not many others around that date 🤔
Last text was 23/10

Congratulations, that's fantastic news.

Fingers crossed for everyone else today.

Ilovemychildren123 · 17/11/2023 07:35

@Luevzamum we are still waiting from 15th June try give them a call I spoke to them Monday and they said I should hear before end of November x

WhereDidTheTimeGo888 · 17/11/2023 07:35

@Myl1984 my situation sounds the same as yours, apart from night time accidents. His sleep (and mine) and anxiety are terrible at the moment. Also gets bad migraines and stomach migraines. He misses a lot of school through all of this. I don’t think I’ll find anything out about DLA until Feb 2024.

crazytimes20 · 17/11/2023 07:48

Congrats @sweetdevil90. So strange how there are hardly any dates around the 27th being awarded. I'm 25/7. Nothing as of yet. Going to ring next week as I'll be around 17.5 wks.

MammyAng84 · 17/11/2023 07:58

I’m starting to think they have forgot about the 15th-21st pile 🤣

sweetdevil90 · 17/11/2023 07:59

@crazytimes20 it's really bizarre! Really don't understand the strange inner workings of the DWP!
I keep checking my bank in case they've changed their minds and taken it back again 😂 first thing I'm gonna spend the back pay on is a new mattress, and a heavy duty mattress cover. His is gross as he still wets the bed at nearly 10 bless him. Then book him some rock climbing classes, it's the only activity he can really focus on and enjoy, but it's so expensive I haven't been able to take him much, but now I can, yay! So happy for my boy 😊

HelloNeighbour2021 · 17/11/2023 08:02

19/07 Rang Wednesday said I will hopefully hear something at the end of this week, beginning of next week 🤞 I’m tempted to ring this morning xx

Clairexdx · 17/11/2023 08:04

I’m 14/7. I’m starting to think it’s a decline :(

Mommaof2babas · 17/11/2023 08:07

Update about uc.....
So I was awarded on Friday but I didn't find out until Monday as I didn't receive a text I had to phone on Monday, I updated uc by changing circumstances i also wrote 2 messages in my journal 1 under payment and 1 under work coach ( I don't have a personal work coach due to having a 2 year old) I got a message back on Tuesday saying that the carers element has been added to my claim but the disability element needed verifying by specialist team, on Wednesday I received 2 letters on my journal saying that I have given a good enough reason as to why my changes where made outside the assessment period I then got another letter yesterday saying that my backdated money has been released and will be in my account on Monday, so all in all its took 1 week from update to payment. I don't understand why there taking so long for people I've seen people waiting nearly a month! Obviously cos everyone's in different areas do you think maybe it's by the service centre depending how quickly it takes? Good luck all still waiting

crazytimes20 · 17/11/2023 08:11

@sweetdevil90 That's great!!! Really pleased your boy got what he deserves. I really hope my boy does. It's such an awful wait.

Hardingcl · 17/11/2023 08:15

Scan date 18/7 I'm going to call today. I was hoping of a decision before another weekend! Praying for an award for my LO but have a meeting with EP next week and should have report soon and confirmation of referral from school so will have more evidence if MR is needed xx
Good luck to everyone today xxx

sweetdevil90 · 17/11/2023 08:25

@crazytimes20 thank you, the wait is really agonising isn't it 😫 You probably said and I've missed it, but when was your scan date?

Sskanf · 17/11/2023 08:40

@Mommaof2babas thank you for updating us all. What reason did you put for updating outside assessment period. I also don't have a work coach as I have a 1 year old, so I've put it under payments like yourself

Sskanf · 17/11/2023 08:41

Good luck everyone calling today xxx

Pumpkins3 · 17/11/2023 08:48

Scan date 12/7 and been with a DM since Monday. No news yesterday. Not sure whether to ring today or wait it out until Monday. Keep waiting for that text to appear but it’s just not happening 😩 Does anyone know the what the longest wait tends to be when it’s with a DM? I suppose it’s how long is a piece of string because if I’m at the bottom of the pile with a few longer cases ahead of me it could be while. Feeling so stressed over it and it’s only getting worse as the days go on. I really thought I’d know by now 😬 x

HomeEdmumof7 · 17/11/2023 08:48

From reading posts people seem to ring, be told it could still be weeks and then get a result soon after, I wonder if the ringing gets them to look for your application and move it along 🤔🤔

Helentwinsplus1 · 17/11/2023 08:49

Me too. I'm 18/7 and it's not gone to a DM yet

Helentwinsplus1 · 17/11/2023 08:51

I'm 18/7 and was told end of next week. Not even with a decision maker yet

Mummyrach13 · 17/11/2023 08:52

That’s great @Mommaof2babas I’ve been waiting almost 3 weeks and still not had the first letter to say they agree to backpay x

sweetdevil90 · 17/11/2023 09:07

@HomeEdmumof7 I think your theory might be correct! Was the case for me, I called on the 7th November, was told I wouldn't get a decision till first week December, then received backpay today!
