Does anyone know how long roughly it takes for a decision when ith a DM, mine went to a DM yesterday so I'm panicking now that it's a decline

Mummyrach13 · 16/11/2023 18:20

Mine was with a DM for 5 days before awarded, all depends how far down the pile you are. X

Hi. Scan date 18/07. Still waiting.
Anyone can answer my question please: this is my 4th child no child element for her , born 2018 if I get DLA will she get anything from UC?
Thanxxx and good luck everyone

Yes defo! So even though you don’t get any payment towards her in regards to the child element, you can still receive the disabled child element and/or carer element as technically your daughter is still on your claim

PinkMoscatoLover · 16/11/2023 18:21

Oops sorry I just saw the question had been answered. I really should scroll down before responding to someone😆

Can anyone please help me work out a DLA award. I rang DLA today who said my son got awarded yesterday. They said he has been awarded High rate care and Low rate mobility. She said back pay will be in bank soon which is £2,045. I rang for the forms 27th June. My son is only 4, will be 5 in February. So I’m assuming the £2,045 won’t include the low rate mobility with 4 year olds not being eligible but the £2,045 doesn’t make sense with the number of weeks from 27th June until now

Rebeccanew · 16/11/2023 18:23

Are you sure it was 2045? As high rate care backdated for 20 weeks is 2035 xxx

Mumofepilepsy · 16/11/2023 18:43

@Mmeades its 20 weeks at 101 I calculated to 2020.00 am not sure how they do it that other 25 might ba a day. Do you think it should of been more or less xx am new so am possibly wrong x

PinkMoscatoLover · 16/11/2023 18:43

Mummymummy22 · 16/11/2023 18:50

@Mmeades @Tmxx it could be 10 pound Xmas bonus ?

Mummymummy22 · 16/11/2023 18:55

@Mmeades @Tmxx 101.75 x 20 = 2035 plus Xmas bonus 10 pounds?

Mum2onebeauifulgirl · 16/11/2023 19:27

Billie1993 · 16/11/2023 19:45
