Following on from part 19 as it’s about to become full.

@Jude82 and yes I was thinking the same I thought when I get though am gonna say something about the ridiculous holding times. The I thought I better not well didn’t have a chance. Cut off I feel like am wishing my days away. It’s a strange feeling I want it to be over it’s a yes or no. I just really need to know my eldest daughter and husband laugh at me. Telling me just wait it’s not going to change how long u have to wait. Xx

Have all scan dates 14/7 heard anything yet ?
I still haven’t heard anything and I can never get through to talk to someone

No 19/07 here and nothing, I need to call but I haven't got time today and kept getting cut off yesterday so I might try tomorrow.

I'm currently listening to that dam music as soon as I rang I got heart palpitations I'm so nervous my scan date isn't till 2/8 but worth a try with end of July dates being done

@MangoPepsiLover I see scan date 17/7 is with dm now so I wonder if we will be in the same pile? He didn’t tell me if mine is with DM just I should hear something by the end of next week

Did anyone ringing today notice the new info on their automated service about a Christmas bonus? Never heard of it, for those who also haven’t heard of it don’t get too excited, I googled it and it’s a whopping £10 for those who qualify.

@Mummyrach13 & @Tmxx how long did you guys wait for the back back from DLA I know it’s between 3-5 days I’m just curious

Yeah, they’re too separate elements as not everyone is eligible for the carers element.

If your DC was awarded LRC or MRC then you can get the disabled child element of £146. If your DC was awarded HRC then you can get the disabled child element of £400 odd (can’t remember the exact amount, sorry!)

If your DC was awarded MRC or HRC then you can claim the carers element too. It is seperate so just make sure you do a COC for being a carer and also asked for the carer element AND disabled child element to be backdated via your journal

Ok thank you for all this information. My son was awarded MRC
I just spoke to UC they said carers element, child element and disability element are all separate. Is this correct? Sorry for all the questions but u seem to have a lot of knowledge easier to understand aswel x
