@Mummyrach13 I'm not holding out much hope! I reported my earnings were reported wrong by my employer on the 10th and I'm due my uc tomorrow, wasn't a little mess up! I got paid £422 and they have down £1028 so I am getting hundreds less on my statement and they haven't sorted that out yet! I will keep you updated xxx

Mummyrach13 · 15/11/2023 18:21

We’ve had that before @Tmxx very frustrating! Always the other way though when taking back. Hopefully it will be a quick process for you x

@Asdmummyhere have they replied saying they will send to a Dm? That’s usually the first thing then the wait begins again. X

@Sockbabies how long have you been waiting again? X

Asdmummyhere · 15/11/2023 18:24

@Mummyrach13 I had a message saying he had requested for disability and carers element to be backdated to the date my son was awarded dla. No mention of dm but assuming that's what he meant xx

Mummyrach13 · 15/11/2023 18:27

Yeah that will be it @Asdmummyhere i had that just over 2 weeks ago now. X

@Mummyrach13 I posted on 3rd November in the
Morning.

My statement is due Friday aswell. Xx

Loui5 · 15/11/2023 18:40

Scan date 14/7

Asdmummyhere · 15/11/2023 18:42

@Tmxx wow that's a massive difference! I really hope they get it sorted asap for you.

The long wait for dla and then the backpay from uc is a never ending cycle. Hopefully everyone hears soon xx

Mummyrach13 · 15/11/2023 18:43

@Sockbabies hopefully you will get the elements on your statement I should imagine you will as it doesn’t take long to verify. Both my elements were were verified within 2 days it’s just the backdating that’s a wait x

They haven't replied about weather it's been verified yet. Said they needed to verify children and then that's it since 😫. Xx

Mummyrach13 · 15/11/2023 18:55

They didn’t reply to me either @Sockbabies i asked the other day and they confirmed it had been done but they didn’t tell me it had x

They haven't even confirmed with me. I'm due a work prep or summat app on 22nd (I've got a 2 year old too). Xx

14/07

anyone else with this date had any luck?

South Wales

Same date and area as me, still waiting. It is with the DM I rang today

Asdmummyhere · 15/11/2023 19:13

@Sockbabies @Mummyrach13 I've had nothing to do with verifying my children or anything. I was supposed to have an appointment this Tuesday but it was cancelled about half an hour after changing my circumstances. Do you think that means it's already been verified? xx

Mummyrach13 · 15/11/2023 19:18

@Asdmummyhere i would say so I had an appt due too and it cancelled! They didn’t tell me it had been verified i asked a couple of days and they replied saying it had Else I wouldn’t have known x

Arghhh it's making my anxiety go mad 😢 I don't know what to do xx

Tmxx · 15/11/2023 20:35

So if they message you back after informing them your now getting dla dods that mean it will be straight on there system once they've replied!? And how long roughly have people waited for the back pay? Is it mad different for everyone or roughly the same amount of time xxx

Billie1993 · 15/11/2023 20:40

@Keddie /@Sskanf /@Rebeccanew I am praying you lovely people get your answers you want tomorrow, I am sticking around for support 🩷

@Mummyrach13 hey hun so I updated UC today for the disability child element do you know the time frame on that hun since I have been reading it’s roughly around a month?

Mummyrach13 · 15/11/2023 20:43

@Billie1993 it seems like it’s different for everyone From what I’ve read and seen on fb! Was just reading some posts and some have had there’s done within a week.
once you update your changes and add a message asking for the backdate they usually reply saying it will go to a DM for backpay then lts a waiting game. Mine has been over 2 weeks now and just been told there’s no time scale on it x

OP posts:
Mummyrach13 · 15/11/2023 20:44

@Billie1993 remember to add carers element too and ask to backdate if you can get that x

OP posts:
Keddie · 15/11/2023 20:47

@Billie1993 that is really lovely of you! praying for good news for all. Its got to the hardest stage now of the unknown. This whole thing is just horrific! Medical professionals advise you to do it and we almost become ill from the affects of the application urgh xxxx

Billie1993 · 15/11/2023 20:49

@Mummyrach13 I can’t receive the carers element part as I have recently been awarded pip for myself. I have only just asked for them to back date it to the 14th June as I didn’t think I was even entitled to the disability element either until I spoke to a friend today

Mummyrach13 · 15/11/2023 20:58

Ah brilliant @Billie1993 you will defo get the disabled child payment and backdate. Hopefully you have a quick experience with it x

Hi what’s the facebook group called please? X

Vikz37 · 15/11/2023 21:17

Loui5 · 15/11/2023 17:55

I have missed a call at 4.58 of dla 🙄 do they usually call back.

They tried ringing me twice yesterday but I couldn't answer at work I thought oh no but 5 mins later a text came through saying I'd been awarded. So there's a chance you might of been and just not had a text. They never phoned again either I assume it was the DM phoning maybe to query something but must of changed there mind.

Amy92x · 15/11/2023 21:17

Hi I have a quick question so if my son was to be awarded what extra would I be awarded on my uc if I claim lcwwra?
