May I ask how old your little one is and if he can read?I know its a random question but I really worry about my little one never learning to read 😭

I’m up school run and appointments today will try and call at 9 I’m over 18 weeks now..good luck all on awards and calling today xxxxxx

I've been a long time lurker here but I woke up a happy surprise of backpay in my bank!!

I didn't recieve any texts to say my son qualified and I haven't called so not sure when he was awarded.

So glad the wait is finally over.

Scan date 06/07 and still not heard anything. Called last week and they said it would be done by the end of the week. Wednesday today and nothing :( so weird that people with dates a week ahead of me have already heard back. Perhaps another call is due 😭😭

@Rebeccanew I don't think I'll be ringing today although I'm 18 weeks. I asked the man whether ill go to a DM this week he said he highly doubted it

Hi all, first time posting! I have 4 children, one on highest rate PIP for both components, Down Syndtome. I'm on week 15 waiting for a DLA decision for my 14 year old diagnosed ASD, scan date 31/7. I thought it was assessed in date order, but I have seen that some have been awarded with newer scan dates than others, which is interesting? I haven't bothered to phone for updates yet, as some have been waiting longer than me, and the times you have mentioned for waiting has put me off calling. Just thought I would join the land of many and say Hi.

Hi, here is hoping! I home educate my daughter, as she suffers hugely from school anxiety. If we are awarded (would be heartbreaking if rejected after waiting this long), the money would help immensely for her education.

I think we all have the same scan date. It is so frustrating!!
My date is 12/7, last text 9/10.
Got told on Monday it would hopefully go to decision maker this week. Yet people with dates after ours are getting answers! Congrats to those getting the awards they deserve, don't mean to sound bitter 🙂
I am back to work tomorrow so thinking about phoning again today but just not sure whether to even bother. What will you both be doing? @Billie1993 I think your date is the same too. Any news? x

@MKAW222 hi hun I totally get you sometimes I get frustrated lol but it’s not meaning to be bitter its just the wait isn’t it and seeing a lot of awards after I’m 10/7 been with decision maker since Monday morning! I’m hoping to find out soon! Weather it’s award or Decline just to work out if k need to do mr! I am so happy for everyone’s awards and even those after my dates it’s those making the awards they make it al confusing lol! I wish everyone best luck on awards this week xxxxx

called every day this week went to a DM 2 days ago called up this morning 9am on the dot waited 2 minutes for It to be picked up for the lovely lady to tell me my child’s decision was finally made yesterday HRC awarded for 2 years backdated till the 14th June only 4 days out I can’t complain. I am so so happy I can’t believe she’s been accepted I am actually crying. You laddies have been so amazing I couldn’t have got through this wait without you lovely people 18 weeks bang on today 🥰.

I think the whole later dates getting awarded before earlier ones, makes me think each DM gets allocated a few piles at once in date order, and it just depends on how quick they get through them, if that makes sense 🤔
