Following along from thread 19, scan date 26/7 text dates 02/10 & 23/10 rang today for an update and to see if bew evidence has been scanned on but the man on thr phone phone basically told me not to bother ringing back until the end of this month as there won't be any update until then (didn't ask name, ref number anything) he was polite enough but nit helpful at all. I may ring again Friday 🤣

Scan date 20/07 here getting nervous now, be 17 weeks Thursday don't know whether to wait until then and call

@Mrsstephens04 yet someone today has been awarded with 27/07 date so he can’t know that without taking your details. Don’t let that put you off calling again and hopefully getting someone more compassionate

I’m the same date, I was told 16th for it to go to dm so I’m ringing Friday

17 weeks tomorrow. Hadn't come to the DM oas of Friday so I'm guessing ringing tomorrow will be pointless. Scan date 18/7

My scan date is 13/07 last text 09/10, do you think its worth trying to call again this week? 🤞 we all get good news soon. Xox

@Boymum910 me too I was even gonna leave it until Monday but after seeing some awards after our date curiosity is getting the better of me haha!

If what they told me, that it's taking 17 1/2 weeks to go to a DM then I should probably wait until Friday to sit on hold for 1 hour 40 minutes yet again

@Helentwinsplus1 yeah and going from what people have said it's a lottery who you get on the other end of the phone after sitting waiting for them to answer 😭

Hi, I’ve never posted before but wondered if anyone else has applied for a teenager with ASD in mainstream school? My scan date is 12/10 so a long way to go, but keep thinking it’ll be declined. Always seems to be that everything is such a fight for help!

I have 3 of them with asd, all in mainstream and all got dla

@WhereDidTheTimeGo888 hey hun I've applied for my just turned 11 year old she's in mainstream awaiting EHCP decision and senco filled in form, she was diagnosed 27 October so rang then to update them as the paperwork from paediatrician can take a while to come through and I knew my scan date was getting closer. Sent of paeds forms, camhs acceptance and camhs breakdown of issues etc must have sent in about 30 pages just hope they actually read it all!

@Helentwinsplus1 my scan date is 18/7 to! I'm north west. Hoping not to long for us now!! And praying for a positive outcome. Xxx

@Mdavies2023 30 pages! I sent his ASD diagnosis report, school SEN passport (fight for EHCP), Ed Psych report and wrote a few pages of day to day life. Sounds like you have loads of evidence. Feel like I’ve hardly sent in anything and probably not worded it correctly either and missed loads of stuff off.

Fingers crossed for everyone that they get their awards.
