@Pandemic1233 thanks so much for updating with that info! That is my scan date and I’ve seen nobody awarded anywhere near that date so far. Good to know. And congratulations! What a relief for you and your family. 👏🏻

I’ve just got through after 1 hour and 15 mins, I have a scan date of 5/7 and last text received 2/10, it is still with a CM but the lady on the phone said it shouldn’t be too long now! I hate all this waiting 😩

Oh my gosh! Received a text around 10 minutes ago stating my son qualifies. I’m over the moon for him! My scan date was the 11/07 and I’m in Hampshire! Good luck to everyone waiting x

Hello I’m probs way off and still got a long wait but my scan date was 4/8 and my second text was 31/10 just wondered if anyone had similar dates to me? Thankyou

@Pandemic1233 did you receive backpay before the letters arrived if you don't mind me asking

I called last week and was told another 4-6 weeks 😩

@Lauren2121 yes I'm the 2nd August and last text 31st October a few from the 27th of July have been awarded so might not be to long now

@Jaysworld same as what I got told this morning , 6/7. Was really hoping there would be a decision as it's been with them since last week but nope 😔 lady on the phone said she thinks I'll hear in the next day or so but nothing yet. The waiting is awful isn't it. I don't wanna keep calling but I know a lot of the DMs don't send out texts and the letters can take weeks to arrive!

@Cheesywiggles I know, such a long wait but hopefully the end is near! They should send a text as standard as letters can take a while to arrive which is frustrating, no wonder the phone lines are so busy! They should maybe have a portal where people can log in to and check the process or similar

I checked my bank straight after I opened the letter as only read the first few words ( as was in shock and wasn’t expecting a replie to end of nov-dec) and then checked my bank it is pending for 2moz..!! Hope this helps. I didn’t call once as didn’t see the point Every1 in here was calling so I was going by there dates and responses from the dla via other people. Also was backdated from 10/7 when I called for forms.. hope this helps 😊

@Pandemic1233 jesus you were looked at quick ! i callled on the 23rd June for forms, scanned on the 13th July. Still waiting for a decision going to call first thing tomorrow for an update @Sskanf will keep you posted x

Honestly wasn’t expecting to have a decision untill end of nov December in fact I didn’t even think we was going to be awarded. We are East Midlands we’re are you?

You’ll receive a second letter on your journal letting you know how much the backpay will be. Unfortunately, there’s no time scale on how this letter will take. Hopefully it’ll be soon🤞🏾 It’s only 3-5 working days from after you receive the second letter

Oh wait I’ve just scrolled down and seen this. This is the letter informing you on how much backpay you’ll be receiving

Does everyone receive the backpay from dla on a Tuesday or is it random days?

Can be anyday in the week @Asdmummyhere mine was a Friday x

@Mummyrach13 thanks hun, what day were u awarded if u don't mind me asking? I was thinking the backpay would arrive tomorrow because my next payment is 4 weeks tomorrow but who knows xx
