@Mummyrach13 hi hun no not had anything. I messaged last thursday/Friday and said it had been 2 weeks since it went to a dm and I'd like to know a rough estimate at how long it's taking but I got a message saying "we don't know timescales" taking the mick tbh! Dla have a lot more claims with them but even my dm with dla only took a day 😅 xx

82cem · 13/11/2023 12:52

My daughter is 13, she was diagnosed at the age of 7/8 but I was put off by being told she probably won't be eligible but I've finally talked myself round to doing it as her needs are more than someone of her own age. It is gutting but I will keep fighting. Good luck.

Rebeccanew · 13/11/2023 12:54

Really hoping a decision is made soon! Today has been the hardest day to dot with my boy! He’s now permanently excluded from school as of today! Waiting on referral to the link school! He should be in school full days ov been doing half days for almost a year now but now looks like I’ll have him full days till something is sorted! I did mention all this in my Dla forms does anyone think I’ll be declined based on this also?? Today is such a rubbish! Day I just need a rant xxxxx

Rosegoldsunshine88 · 13/11/2023 12:56

@82cem just so gutting, deffo do an MR x

StephanieCee · 13/11/2023 12:57

Hi, sorry to jump on, I’ve had the same issue, ring them and say you want a fast escalation. I rang at 11 this morning, I’ve already had a message to say how much and when it will be in

Vikz37 · 13/11/2023 13:03

@Mumofasdadhd I'm the same scan date as you what area are you I was told last week in November before a decision will be made. Just wondering if different areas are different.

Tmxx · 13/11/2023 13:04

@Asdmummyhere have you still not heard!? I have just updated uc today of mrc and also wondering how long 🤣 xxx

Mumofasdadhd · 13/11/2023 13:08

Im in Hertfordshire. Im going to call them now and see what they say. Ive never called before but this is a joke that people are made to wait this long and money travels faster than paper so no point them even sending letters

Clairexdx · 13/11/2023 13:14

I’m still on hold haha 56 mins x

Thenoseymother · 13/11/2023 13:16

So my daughter has been prescribed melatonin since I applied due to her sleep issues. Do you think it’s worth me sending in her prescription as evidence? Or will they see it as her night care needs aren’t there now she’s on melatonin? (They definitely are as she still wakes several times - it just helps her settle off to sleep) not sure what’s best to do???

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 13/11/2023 13:17

@StephanieCee mines been with a uc dm for just over 2 weeks haven't even recieved his decision yet! Annoying! Lol x so glad yours is finally getting sorted! X

Clairexdx · 13/11/2023 13:14

24 mins here lol

Sskanf · 13/11/2023 13:21

I keep getting cut off not even on hold yet

Asdmummyhere · 13/11/2023 13:24

@Tmxx no nothing yet, just assuming they've accepted my change of circumstances as my work search appointment was cancelled. @Mumto2sengirlsxx how long did you wait for someone to initially get back to you when you put a note on your journal for backpay? x

puzzleme5 · 13/11/2023 13:25

Scan date 12/07 and not with decision maker yet but said it should be this week. He said I'll get a text if I'm awarded but if I'm not then it will just be a letter in the post

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 13/11/2023 13:28

@Asdmummyhere hi I got a response the next morning I believe saying they had to verify my children, then within 2 hours another message to say it had now been sent to a dm and verification was confirmed. I got lucky getting a response as I know loads of people aren't having any responses. But I wrote the message asking for it to be sent with a dm to work coach option and then to payments section too just so I knew someone would see it x

Clairexdx · 13/11/2023 13:31

Got through after and hour and 10 mins. Should be dealt with any time this week! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Asdmummyhere · 13/11/2023 13:33

@Mumto2sengirlsxx thanks hun, I have put a message on work coach and payments but nothing yet. I'll leave it a couple of days and put another one one xx

Sskanf · 13/11/2023 13:35

Is yours with a dm at all

Keddie · 13/11/2023 13:36

@Clairexdx whats your scan date? I am the 13/7 but sent in further docs over the weekend hoping they scan them on today and hear later this week x

Ilovemychildren123 · 13/11/2023 13:36

Just an update on change of circumstances I have just called and they are now at 23.5 weeks before a decision. We are on week 22 this week so hopefully not too much longer for a decision. Good luck all

Mumofasdadhd · 13/11/2023 13:37

I just called and the man was lovely but he said 20weeks so not sure if thats correct or if they are trying to get people to stop calling

Mummyrach13 · 13/11/2023 13:37

@Mumto2sengirlsxx, @StephanieCee urgh! I Sent a Message on my journal earlier asking if they had been done and someone has replied saying the disabled child payment backdate request has been missed! So more waiting for me then. X

Mummyrach13 · 13/11/2023 13:39

@Thenoseymother i sent in a copy of my sons prescription for melatonin even though he still needs a lot of night care! I’m not sure if it was helpful as I had other reports too but I sent everything I could. X

Clairexdx · 13/11/2023 13:52

@Keddie im 14/7 last text from them 9/10 x
