Our scan date was 2/8. got a text 9/10 still looking at it, then another text 31/10 still looking at it.
Were approaching week 15. I see that some of you have been told 18 weeks so hopefully not long to go

JJO15 · 13/11/2023 14:00

@Jaffacakesrlife We are around the same time, I’m 1/8. When I phoned a few weeks ago about evidence they said we should get a decision first week of December x

Jaffacakesrlife · 13/11/2023 14:03

Thank you so much for that. I have tried calling but been on hold for an hour and gave up. My DS is only 3 non verbal and development delay. hopefully we get a decision soon xx

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 13/11/2023 14:04

@Mummyrach13 what do they mean by missed? How did they miss it? 😂 I'd be asking to put a complaint in regarding that may get your case looked at quicker 😉🤭 I don't know when I'm "eligible" to escalate and put in a complaint for wait time xx

Binks90 · 13/11/2023 14:13

I no its been asked a lot of times but do we think the 5 weeks after the last text is legit coz it's 5 weeks today for me

ohhollyfred · 13/11/2023 14:14

Ilovemychildren123 · 13/11/2023 13:36

Just an update on change of circumstances I have just called and they are now at 23.5 weeks before a decision. We are on week 22 this week so hopefully not too much longer for a decision. Good luck all

Oooooo I'm 23 weeks for CoC 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 wasn't expecting anything until Xmas have the sped up a bit then??

Rebeccanew · 13/11/2023 14:15

Can someone please tell me difference from case manager to decision maker is one more tougher than the other? Xxxxx

Mommaof2babas · 13/11/2023 14:18

@Rebeccanew I don't know the difference but mine went to a case manager Friday morning and a decision was made by lunch time Friday, I didn't receive a text I had to phone up this morning to find out I had been awarded mrc.
My scan date is 12.07

PinkMoscatoLover · 13/11/2023 14:25

Wildboysmum18 · 13/11/2023 12:40

Does anyone know how long uc take to backpay my once they’ve sent you a decision letter?
good luck to everyone still waiting 😄

Did you receive a letter confirming that the DM has accepted your reason for reporting the change outside of your assessment period? Or did the letter confirm the amount of the back payment? If so then it’s 3-5 working days from that letter

PinkMoscatoLover · 13/11/2023 14:28

Thenoseymother · 13/11/2023 13:16

So my daughter has been prescribed melatonin since I applied due to her sleep issues. Do you think it’s worth me sending in her prescription as evidence? Or will they see it as her night care needs aren’t there now she’s on melatonin? (They definitely are as she still wakes several times - it just helps her settle off to sleep) not sure what’s best to do???

A new prescription of melatonin is certainly worth sending in as that proves over night care. They won’t look at that and assume all over night care has disappeared as a lot of children still don’t sleep that much with melatonin and will still need assistance

Ilovemychildren123 · 13/11/2023 14:29

@ohhollyfred I was told 28 weeks a few weeks ago but today she said they reduced to 25 weeks the week before last and now they are working at 23.5 so that’s good

Mumofasd3 · 13/11/2023 14:34

Ive caved im currently on hold for an update!

Sskanf · 13/11/2023 14:40

Rebeccanew · 13/11/2023 14:53

@Sskanf 10/7 hun what’s yours mine only went this morning xxxxxxx

YorkieMummyof4 · 13/11/2023 14:58

We got rejected, I'm absolutely heartbroken, my boy can hardly walk some days, and he can't be up all night in pain. I don't know what I did wrong. There sending me a Mr form, how long do these usually take? He's due major spinal surgery in January and really hoped it could be sorted for then.

Sskanf · 13/11/2023 15:01

@Rebeccanew I seen your post about having a rubbish day, really hope it gets better for you. I have a sister with a similar situation and understand how stressful it can be, hold in there ur doing your very best im sure. Really hope u get your worthy award very soon and that perks u up hun.
Ohh my scan dates 12/07 so don't think there's any point me calling yet..I'm sure you'll get something end of today or tomorrow morning

Wildboysmum18 · 13/11/2023 15:03

The letter says they’ve accepted my reason. That was on my journal today

Wildboysmum18 · 13/11/2023 15:07

I’m confused about this? Can someone please explain 🤣

puzzleme5 · 13/11/2023 15:19
