@Tmxx thankyou hun it’s such a relief for us especially at higher rate I thought we’d been declined waiting so long! Have u any news xx

Just on hold, definitely won't have news so i dont even know why I'm doing it as I'm only 16weeks and 6 days today! What grounds did you apply on if you don't mind me asking!? As I also think it will be a decline for my boy so like to know if its anything similar so I know if I stand a chance hahaha xx

Muva25 · 06/11/2023 09:46

woooowww soo glad to see all these awards today and hopefully for the rest of the week looks like they are flying through now so good luck to all waiting

just to get into universal credit now

Asdmummyhere · 06/11/2023 09:46

Anyone around 6/7 manage to get through, keep me posted please 😊 congratulations to all awards so far today @Muva25 I bet your so relieved xx

Sskanf · 06/11/2023 09:51

@Tmxx I'm almost 17 weeks too. Plz keep us updated when you get through and mention that it says 15 weeks in the auto msg perhaps
Fingers crossed u get some gd news

Clazamumof2girls · 06/11/2023 09:52

@Rebeccanew @Tmxx it was the 29/06 but back dated to me calling for forms on the 12/06… really made up. This will make such a difference xx

Muva25 · 06/11/2023 09:53

@Tmxx my little girl has a chromosome microdeletion that’s very rare it’s only given a number not even a name. She’s ng tube fed and I pass the tube myself or she’d have to go to a &e everytime she pulls it out which is after every feed, she has oral aversion allergies and severe eczema they suspect gdd but no firm diagnosis but requires a lot more care than her twin which I highlighted as Dla is apparently awarded for higher care need than a child of the same age ( nobody more the same age than a twin born two minutes after) what is your little one’s condition if you don’t mind c

Alasitsme · 06/11/2023 09:53

Scan date 6/7. Just got through (50 mins on hold). Still in the holding queue and not yet assigned to a DM. So frustrating. She tried to tell me it was only 16 weeks "if you work on 4 weeks per calendar month" (?!!) so I corrected her. It will be 18 weeks on Thursday. I also told her about the inaccurate recorded message saying 15 weeks and she said she'd let her manager know (and seemed quite annoyed about that!)

Tmxx · 06/11/2023 09:54

@Sskanf I wi definitly keep you updated! Seems to be a very long wait today and with my 11 month old i don't know if I'll be able to hold out but I really hope so! 🙏 Will let you know what they say!

@Clazamumof2girls did you ever find out when it went to a dm!? Just wondering as it seems to be working on later dates than that so wondering if it's just because the dm took a while xx

Muva25 · 06/11/2023 09:54

@Asdmummyhere hiya yes sooo happy I’m a little shaky 😂

Sskanf · 06/11/2023 09:56

@Tmxx well I hope you get thru soon as it is hard with a little 1. Its the reason I haven't called with my 1 year old and 3.5 year old both whiney

Wow you definitly didn't have any worries about getting award you 100% deserved it! My little one has spinabifida, he has multiple medicines a day, has to be catheterised every 3 hours due to his nerve damage meaning his bladder doesnt empty, he also has bowel problems but discovered these after sending forms so going to save this and send if needed for Mr! He is a year old on December 1st and is so delayed in development, he cannot sit he cannot crawl all he can do is roll so he's at about a 5month old and will most likely be in a wheelchair as his legs are weak due to the nerves being damaged too! But its all about evidence snd extra care and I sent these forms off before ever reading anything and now I think I haven't wrote enough details! Xx

Currently on 41 minutes, he's holding out well but is due a catheter now so I'm hoping they don't answer within the next 15 minutes whilst I do this 🤣 xx

Muva25 · 06/11/2023 10:03

@Tmxx whoa super mummy here! You’ll defo be awarded that’s a lot to deal with on a daily basis even though he is a baby he has a lot of extra care needs my little one was 11months old when I applied aswel! We’ve only been awarded a year but by then we’ll have a lot more evidence as been waiting for genetics they said up to 18wks to see someone and only just got salt appointment from Referal 4 months ago! I’m sure you will get something xx

Doymum · 06/11/2023 10:03

Scan date 10/7 I was going to call but only called on Friday so not sure if it’s worth it. Might call tomorrow. Any around the same date called today?

He also has hydrocephalus (fluid in his brain) and had a shunt fitted at 3 weeks old witch we think is blocked and he will be having yet another surgery due to that soon! He also has just started botox on his bladder to try and stop it over working as it's sending wee back up to his kidneys witch can cause kidney damage! It's never ending appointments an hour away each time and there's so many! Xx

Thank you hun although when it's yourself you just don't realise!! Like you sound like you have so much yo deal with and I think wow I take my hat off to you your literally amazing! And then you don't realise you also are one of these super mums that are just doing so well considering the hand we have been dealt! 🥰 xx

MumOf5Skids · 06/11/2023 10:08

WE have a decision!
15/7 scanned (4/7 received)
HRC LRM 😭

MangoPepsiLover · 06/11/2023 10:08

Reading some of these I don't think we'll get it.

My DD is 8. Struggles to walk further than half a mile especially if it's cold or damp due to joint hypermobility syndrome. She can use the toilet but because she has JHS so badly in her hips it often masks her need to go so she wets herself or goes to close to needing to go so ends up with wet/stained underwear.

She can't climb stairs.

Does daily physio which is not improving her conditions. She needs daily baths to help with pain.

She also has dyspraxia, Audio Processing and we suspect dyslexia. She struggles at school, hates it and can be violent after it due to struggling to process whats going on.

We think she has a genetic condition but isn't diagnosed or had any testing as NHS keep pushing her down the list. But all her other condition fit into 1 or 2 genetic condition symptoms.

Hardingcl · 06/11/2023 10:09

I called 9am took about 20 mins to get through. I'm 16 weeks tomorrow, he said it will go to a decision maker at 17 weeks. What I don't get is why don't they tell everyone the same thing so we know where we stand!.

Sskanf · 06/11/2023 10:11

@Tmxx awww bless you really hope u get awarded soon so u dont have the worry anymore and can focus on ur little 1

Sskanf · 06/11/2023 10:12

Wow congratulations the waits finally over. Was yours a new claim?

I'm 17 weeks tomorrow just got off the phone and he explained the whole process of where it goes from when it gets scanned to when it gets to a dm he was so helpful! But mine is still just waiting for a dm to get it so no further on! He said it is currently 18 week wait, It's driving me insane now! Xx

@Sskanf the update xx
