hey,
have you spoken to them, I wonder how long it will take them to make a decision 🙂

I rang yesterday, said 18.5 weeks before going to DM.
But people from my date 29/06 seem to be starting getting award so hopefully Next week!

What date are you?

PinkMoscatoLover · 27/10/2023 18:34

Tmxx · 27/10/2023 15:57

I think I also seen that on Facebook about the 10 weeks! So really my relying on other people to ring means nothing because they could be in a faster pile! Might have to brave it and ring soon 🙈 xx

Oh no defo don’t go based on other dates mentioned as it isn’t 100% in chronological order. Call whenever you’re able too!

MumOf5Skids · 27/10/2023 19:50

Long Time lurker first time posting!
scan date 15/7
applying for 8yo diagnosed with ASD, AFRID and Severe Anxiety suspected adhd. Feel like I didn’t send much evidence - dietician report from 2019(awaiting most recent report), diagnosis report (2019), 24h diary, 7day sleep diary. Need to send report from his MH support worker and awaiting statement from school (but not hopeful as we’ve had 5 SENDCO in 5 years, most recent has been there 6w and hasn’t even met with H) and also report from sleep consultant (also not hopeful it’ll be helpful, literally says mum says H struggles with sleeping. Asked her to complete a 14 days diary and will review in 6m)
we applied back in 2019 pre diagnosis (mid assessments) but was declined and I didn’t have the oomf for an MR.
since then I’ve assisted 3 friends with forms (as in I filled out for them) with needs similar to or less than my sons and all 3 awarded HRC LRM so that’s a positive.
going mad waiting.
also need to apply for my 3.5yo (suspected asd and adhd. Diagnosed with PICA) forms completed and awaiting printing but I’m not sure I can manage the wait for 2 at the same time😵

mumof3bs1more · 27/10/2023 20:14

My scan date is 28/06 so 1 day difference between us!
fingers crossed we both hear by next weekend 😊

mumof3bs1more · 27/10/2023 20:16

Fingers crossed for us both that we get a decision soon 😊

Mummy1614116 · 27/10/2023 21:36

Scan date 26/06 2 letters 2 texts last text 19/09 called today was awarded MRC and low mobility was awarded yesterday no text but thought I'd try calling just to see even though I was told another few weeks last week . Good luck all 🤞

Mrsstephens04 · 27/10/2023 22:19

Wondering if anyone wohld know but im sure its On question 37 "does the child have any reports plans or statements....EHCP, IEP...ect" I ticked no as I didn't think my son had one any in place but it turns put he does have an EHCP can I just ring them and let them know he does have one in place or should I get copy of the EHCP and just send it across to them?

Mommaof2babas · 27/10/2023 23:27

Hi,
My scan date is 12/07
Received second text 09/10
Just wanted to ask about UC back date for disability part and carers element, on my forms I received it says my claim start date (if accepted is 10th june) so will uc be backdated to that date or will it be scan date (12/07) or is it award date (w/c 20/11) the that a decision is made? I've been reading other comments but a little confused by it?
Congratulations to all who have been awarded recently!

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 28/10/2023 00:31

@Mommaof2babas honestly I'd wait until your get a award and then ask dla when is backdate dated to. My scan date is 26th June but im glad I asked as they actually backdated me to 24th June for some reason must of been when they recieved it xx

Vikz37 · 28/10/2023 07:36

The wait it's awful I've got at least 4 weeks yet. I'm so impatient Just want to know now either way.

Mummyrach13 · 28/10/2023 07:50

It’s horrible and weekends are the worst as they seem so long 😂

Hi everyone, joining while I wait Smile

Scan date of 18.10 so know I have a longg wait ahead! The more time you have the more you start to doubt the info on your claim form 😭

Xx

Mommaof2babas · 28/10/2023 10:57

@Mumto2sengirlsxx thank you for replying!! I'll wait for award then go from there!
My scan date is 12.07 phoned last week and got told have a decision around 20.11 so don't have long left.
Hope you don't have long to wait!🙂

Mummyrach13 · 28/10/2023 11:26

That’s so true @BoyGirlMomxox i was fine when I sent my form in, but now a decision is imminent I am really doubting myself and dreading having a decline.

Congratulations on your award. I'm 6/7 too. I believe between 3-5 working days. Did you call for an answer or get a text? x
