Following on from part 16…..

Just got through on phone. Scan date 4/7. Lady was lovely and said I'm now with the decision maker so fingers crossed 🤞. She said I should expect a decision in days. I'll update if I hear anything. Good luck everyone x

30/06 update.

Called this morning. It went to a decision maker 31/10 but no decision yet

Just got off the phone.
One of the security questions she asked was ‘when was the last time you called?’ Feel like a serial stalker, as I called them on Monday haha.
Lady said it’s with a decision maker but can’t guarantee it’s being looked at yet as they could have 30+ forms to get through. She also said it could be any day though.

Another up date !! I’m so confused , rang bang on 9am was answered straight away , explained what had happened the last two times I called and that I really wasn’t happy with the mis infornation. Spoke to a lovely lady who said she will raise a query why I was told different things. However said she can assure me my claim is with a dm but was only sent yesterday. She said I should have a decision In a few days . She couldn’t apologise enough.

So I said I wasn't phoning but wanting to know got the better off me. The man I spoke with sounded like he didn't want to be at work and it's only 9, so long day for him. He said its in the decision makers pile so should hear in the next few weeks, before hanging up without saying goodbye! Scan date 30/06

Morning everyone good luck to everyone who waiting hopefully 🙏 we all get some good news soon. I won’t call again as woman yesterday was vile. I’ll just wait it out to middle November now 😅

Rang this morning, got through in 2 mins.
Claim finally with a decision maker 🙌. Be checking my phone all day.

@Raych1989 we have the same scan date, just got off the phone mine is not with a DM yet. goodluck x

It really shouldn’t be so hit and miss on who you get on the end of the phone , wish they were all lovely.

I don't know what's worse waiting for it to go to a dm or waiting for a decision! Same scan date so hopefully we get answers in the next few days!

Hey, I only rang Tuesday but seeing people with dates after me being awarded, but on hold now 30/6 x

Honestly today was the first time I got some one who came across as they didn't even want to be answering calls. All the others have been pleasant. But they should all bare in mine we are all calling for a reason not for fun.

@busymummy555 I'll update if I hear anything. More nervous now in case of a decline. I know my daughter deserves it I'm just hoping they can see it too. The waiting is just horrible. Fingers crossed 🤞 yours goes to decision maker soon x

Just got off the phone. Scan date 30.06. Went to DM on Monday been awarded MCR yesterday.

29/06, not heard a thing and don't want to ring again as scared for an answer.

Reckon it's a decline for us.

@Hams12459 hi, that’s really unusual and sorry you had an answer like that! I sent off evidence Monday morning to be received before 1pm the next day. When I phoned on the Tuesday at 1 the lovely guy told me they had received it and it had been scanned on straight away! He also went onto the system and put a note on aswell to make sure the evidence gets looked at when it goes to a DM! I’ve seen other people be told it can take 7-10 days for it to be scanned on especially if it’s left in a pile, but 4 weeks? Maybe phone again and see if you can speak to someone else as you’re worried it’s been lost maybe? X

@Loopy2406 positive thoughts hun if its a decline make sure u get all ur relevent info to fight it u got this 💪🌈🌈 but it may not be tho seems to be alot of 30th s done today so getting closer for us

new to mumsnet, made a claim for DLA for my daughter end of June, had a letter stating they’ve received my claim, then one for a birth certificate & then another one stating they’re still looking into it. I’ve had two texts saying I don’t need to do anything….
but it’s been over the 15weeks they said in the letter & I haven’t received my daughters birth certificate back..how long did it take for others to get it back? & how did you find out your scan date?

@Terrilou90 you scan date will be on the letter which tells you it’s 15 weeks xx

When did you send the birth certificate? I sent the birth certificate on a Friday via recorded delivery and received it back four days later on the Tuesday.

Did you send the birth certificate in the envelope that they asked you to send it in? If so, I’d defo give them a call and ask when they plan on sending it back to you
