Shezza8507 · 01/11/2023 15:16

My scan date 7/7 rang yesterday still nothing

Kelz23 · 01/11/2023 15:17

Just seen on Facebook someone get awarded from 5th July hopefully it won’t be much longer

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 01/11/2023 15:19

@Mummyrach13 I would actually contact them in the morning and say your waiting for carers element to be verified and you won't be able to attend your appointments due to now being a carer, if you have q decent work coach they will push back your appointment to wait for it to be verified, they did this for my partner anyway xxx

Mummyrach13 · 01/11/2023 15:29

I have never had a work coach @Mumto2sengirlsxx as always been in light touch due to husbands earnings so think I have this appt to assign a work coach but I would have gone back into light touch anyway although won’t need that now. Il see if they cancel it I’m not sure how long it takes for them to verify those elements xx

Kelz23 · 01/11/2023 15:43

How long is it taking to speak to someone please.

LGR004 · 01/11/2023 15:55

@ARH36 thanks sweet, hope you can get yours sorted out too :( let me know as the process goes on ! & I’ll keep you updated also ❤️

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 01/11/2023 15:56

@Mummyrach13 I don't think they just cancel on their own hun you'd have to request so probably will still expect you too go im agoraphobic so had a better chance of arguing with them and then them moving my appointments 🤣 xxx

4LittleFirecrackers · 01/11/2023 16:01

@LGR004 yes it’s with DM as of yesterday, they rang me for an update on my DC and have sent the form to the medical team for their advice/opinion so I feel sick. Is yours with DM?

LGR004 · 01/11/2023 16:06

@4LittleFirecrackers oh wow! Well hopefully the doctors respond quite quickly and get the accurate information over soon as possible ! Is there anyway you could contact the doctors for example book and appointment to speak to him/her and explain they’ve sent them some questions or stuff for DLA is there anyway you could find out if you’ve received it and get it sent back soon as you can’t etc if you get what I mean? Try hurry along the process because sometimes when they vouch out for information I’ve heard it can take up to 2-3 weeks to get the information back where doctors etc are really useless atm .. might be something worth trying ! & yes ! Well bloke Monday said it went Monday morning and yesterday the lady said went yesterday soo? 😂 either Monday or yesterday , I won’t call till Friday now then if no result yet then next week Tuesday time hopefully get an answer then! X

LGR004 · 01/11/2023 16:08

@Kelz23 if you call at 9am anywhere from 5- 30 mins , if calling from 11 onwards your looking at 45-2hrs ! X

4LittleFirecrackers · 01/11/2023 16:16

@LGR004 ahhhh it’s nerve wracking isn’t it.
I could but I’m not sure what I could give, the GP doesn’t know anything (without been rude to them) DC is under a specialist surgeon at a childrens hospital who can only really answer their queries so feel bad to contact them as they are seeing and operating on children daily, my issue will seem small to them. I may wait a couple of days, if still no response ring and ask what info they need/want and see if I can get it for them. I didn’t send any info on the condition as it specifically said no advice sheets etc.

LGR004 · 01/11/2023 16:42

@4LittleFirecrackers ah I get what you mean sweet , we’ll see what they need and want and honestly I even sent appointment letters to them I could only provide everything I had to show my LO is under the different teams occupation you know so if you don’t hear anything , call and just explain the situation and say I have some other bits and pieces but it advised not to send them and see what they say, really hope your process isn’t much longer now ! Xx

Kelz23 · 01/11/2023 16:51

Hi I managed to build up the confidence to call it took 1 hr40 mins to get through to woman who was just huffing and puffing I asked did you get my extra documents she told me check on Royal Mail. I said I want to make sure they was added to my claim she then checked and confirmed they had. I said as my claim gone to decision maker she said it was allocated the 28th July and won’t get looked at till 17.5 weeks then can take 2-3 weeks call back in 3 weeks
scan date 3/7 unbelievable I won’t call now again just wait and what will be will be.

Lollypops88 · 01/11/2023 16:54

@LGR004 my oldest boy had his medical records asked from thr doctors it took my doctor 2 weeks to sign and write the info i rang daily to try and hurry it along but it didnt get me any where with the doctors!!! Hope its quicker for u 🤞🤞🤞

Lollypops88 · 01/11/2023 16:57
