Muva25 · 01/11/2023 09:09

Just got off phone said decision should defo be made by the 3rd nov as its 18 weeks. She said decision hasn’t been made so don’t know whether to take that as it’s with a dm or not 😬 she said call next week and chase it up lovely woman waited 1 min on hold bang on 9am scan date 30/6

Kyarcy1316 · 01/11/2023 09:11

Over the MOON!

My 3yo daughter was awarded yesterday - MRC HRM from 16th May 2023 to 15th May 2025. Back pay of £3338.40 to hit my account in a few days time. (27/6 scan date)

I'm so ecstatic that this stressful, depressive journey is now over for both my children and they'll now get what they rightly deserve!

Good luck to everyone else waiting on an outcome!

Mummyrach13 · 01/11/2023 09:13

I’m so sorry, have they said why?

Rebeccanew · 01/11/2023 09:45

Hi boymummy if you don’t mind me asking what grounds did you apply on asi what did you send in Thankyou? Xxxx

Boymummyof2 · 01/11/2023 09:49

@Doymum no they didn't tell me on what grounds they just said wait for a letter 😕 so disappointed. Xx

Caitlyn59 · 01/11/2023 09:51

@Boymummyof2 Hi , sorry to hear of your decline , did you send much evidence in , I’m still waiting 26/6 , I have a feeling mine is going to be a decline also , x

Boymummyof2 · 01/11/2023 09:57

@Rebeccanew Hey, I applied for my sons asthma. He has had it since he was 2 and it's so bad we are in hospital on ventilators and having steroids ever month. He takes regular medication for it as he struggles to walk any distance without his inhaler. We send it nearly 200 pages of hospital admissions, ambulance reports, medication breakdowns since he was 2 and they still declined him. Xx

Rebeccanew · 01/11/2023 10:00

Ohh wow boymummy! Over 200pages also that’s disgusting to be declined I would defo do a MR! Sorry for you and your little boy! I’d wait for the letters and mr! With detail on each point they declined for! I sometimes think they don’t even read it properly…xxxxxxx

LGR004 · 01/11/2023 10:26

@Boymummyof2 so sorry sweet, 100% go for MR , with that much evidence that’s so wrong of them to decline , fight it and get what he deserves!! ❤️

LGR004 · 01/11/2023 10:27

todays awfully 50/50 with the decisions isn’t it .. hope everyone’s coping well ! X

Hi, I'm so sorry to hear this.

Ring them and ask them for a copy of the full report, then write a letter formally asking for a MR highlighting any inaccuracies or contradictions.

Good luck!

good luck to everyone!! Thank u all for the support groups.

Congrats!

LGR004 · 01/11/2023 10:31

And see results like that is what I don’t think theses workers understand why we keep calling and pestering , waiting 18 odd weeks to get a decline .. do they not understand how this affects people mentally.. this whole process has infuriated me beyond words 😴 that’s why I don’t have it in me to call because I do tend to lash out at situations like this only because I have passion for it in sense it should be dealt with better and constantly messing with peoples heads is not ok… sorry for anyone getting declined please fight for what your children deserve !

jlgsy94 · 01/11/2023 10:32

Question regarding the Disabled Child Element on UC.

I know my son is entitled to the Higher Rate as as his DLA award is HRC LRM.

What rate would my daughter be entitled to with MRC HRM?
