Congratulations on your award. So did you qualify after 5 weeks from 2nd txt?.

@Sskanf thank you, it's very bittersweet as there is so many of you still waiting and I do understand how awful the wait is. It was 5 weeks yesterday since my second text. I called Friday and it wasn't even with a DM at that point, so for us a decision seems to be have been made quite quickly. Best of luck with your claim x

Oh really, I kind of hope I don't receive one now. I'm only 17 weeks this week so going to hold out until 18 I think. The wait is awful. Have you had your award now? I've not kept up with the thread today xx

I hope they start working through a bit quicker the wait is horrible.

Hi i need some advice, i didnt send any evidence with my new claim but went into detail about the follwing with supporting letters from close friend.and next door neighbour who hears all the commotion. My question is will my detailed form and no professional evidence even be considered for an award, anyone experienced similar?
So my daughter is 9 and needs help with alot but also shows OCD traits, so it takes me 10 times longer to make sure her clothes feel just right or her bed is made exactly as she likes it.and her belongings must be lined up on the floor...she knows if I've hoovered and they've moved an inch. She only eats certain food and it mustn't touch other food on plate. She sleeps in my bed most nights and won't sleep until late , and I can't crease my duvet or have my pillow a millimetre on her side otherwise huge loud meltdown, wakes up next door and my other children.Doing her hair can take up to 10 attempts as not smooth enough or it's not high enough or comfy enough....its everything EVERYTHING....at school she's fine 😓. Its draining. If things are wrong she goes into a huge aggressive meltdown and hits and scream and bites me or anyone in her way at bome. Tells me to die. Then it's 2 hours of calming her down until the next meltdown. Its hard...really hard xx

No @Asdmummyhere I psyched myself up this morning to phone as thought a decision might have been made but she said it went to a DM 6 days ago and no decision as of yet! Back to being anxious!

My son has severe OCD Aswell as contamination OCD, ARFID eating disorder, sleep disorder and Suspected ASD waiting assessment @Loopy2406 hes similar to your daughter in ways but he’s almost 13 and can not do anything for himself due to the rituals, he can’t touch taps, doors, lights, food packages and the list goes on. He mentally can not prepare any food or drink for himself he would not eat and drink which reflects the eating disorder. He doesn’t sleep as has intrusive thoughts of death. He’s housebound other than 1 visit a week to camhs for therapy as he wants help but we feel the effects of that for 2 days! He’s on day medication, sleep medication, having therapy and under a psychiatrist I sent off the reports from CAMHS psychiatrist hoping they will be accepted as evidence as I’m only now recently being listened too after years of being fobbed off!
I don’t feel we have a strong enough claim after reading some posts but we shall see.
Can you self refer to CAMHS in your area to get some back up? If not keep on at your Gp for support. X

I will definately keep you updated @LGR004 you ladies are my support and keeping me hopeful at the moment. Let me know if you hear anything.
I don’t know how I will cope if I have to go into another weekend or not knowing. X

@Mummyrach13 hi hun been following all day but haven't had the time too send a message... so sorry you still don't have a decision, knowing its with a dm is the most anxious time of it all! Hopefully you'll have a answer this week so you don't have another weekend waiting. Your claim must be at the bottom of the pile because seems that your claim went to a dm the same day mine did. I just got lucky and must of been at the top! I'm sure the wait will be over pretty soon for you hun either way!! Congrats to everyone on their awards today! Xx

Felt so sick waiting to hear what she was going to say but feel even more anxious now knowing that it’s been with a DM a while! Will keep my fingers crossed 🤞 really hope I know something by the weekend xx

@Mummyrach13 I defo can imagine you will know before the weekend whether you get a text or not I don't know I never recieved mine 😅 crazy how some dms work through their piles so slowly xx

i called on Friday, and they told me that they were going to be working overtime on the weekend. And then they said that mine should be looked at this week!? But I’m not gonna ring until then of the week.

SO happy for all of the awards being granted!!

My son has just been diagnoses with autism and your daughter sounds very simular to him he lines things up in order and straight lines and so on maybe she might have asd x

@Mummyrach13 Morning 👋🏼 29/06 here. I rang yesterday it’s with dm and decision could take another week. The lady on the phone said to ring back next week but I did ask for text to be sent where possible once decision is made xx

Scan date 30/6, got my 2nd text on the 25th so the 5 weeks was Monday. called this morning still not with dm but was told it should be this week it goes to them.
