@MumofLou .. she’s good the one I got through to ! She said my claim was actually meant to go to a DM on the 10th of November but it’s gone early to them, she was mumbling some other bits and bobs but she said to call back on the 10th November .. almost another 2 weeks I could rip my own eyes out you know ..

@MumofLou if she wants me to call on the 10th November that makes me 20 weeks .. surely that can’t be real ? Feel so frustrated now

Another scan date buddy. I was told yesterday last week of November the wait is just awful just want an answer now.

I know there's quite a few of us with those dates I rang yesterday and was told in was in the dm pile but no decision.
I rang today and was appointed to case manager over the weekend. Hang on why 2 different answers to the same question and is a dm tge same as a case manager im stressed confused and just wgat a straight forward reply . Any one able to help

Case Managers are a lower grade than Decision Makers and are usually only trained to make PIP Decisions whereas a DM may have experience of other benefits and would also be responsible for making eligibility Decisions as well as entitlement ones.

Still not sure is it because I've claimed before possibly and it's updated evidence . I'm bloody useless with forms etc abd didn't do renewal forms in time so had to re apply just getting myself in a right state about it all . ( I'm also ASD so whole I applying for my daughters it triggered me )

@LGR004 i think they tell you that to over compensate the time! When I phoned a week ago she said I would hear by end of Nov, which would have took me to 23 weeks!! Was like wow. But a lot around my date have now had decisions and when I phoned today she said mine went to a DM last Thursday. X

Mines also the 3/7 and with decision maker

@Mummyrach13 yeah I suppose so , bloke yesterday said it went to DM that morning and the lady half hour ago I spoke to said it went to a DM today .. so? I’m just frustrated with how it’s all seeming like there messing people about just be straight up honest and set standard times and dates etc! She did today big piles of assessments go to a DM at once as well that’s why they can take from 10-14 days for a decision but even so I feel like it’s a constant knock back when you call, think your one step further and you’ve gone 2 steps back .. I do think I’m genuinely not going to call now until the 10th like she said , if I hear nothing or get no back payment I’ll know it’s a decline and if I get a text or back payment I’ll know it’s been successful.. I’ve genuinely run out of mental space for allowing this to bother me .. what will be will be now x

@LGR004 i know how you feel I didnt sleep at all last night as thought I would have a decision today either way and that’s not the case so the waiting and anxiety continues! I will try to hold out calling again and just hope for the best! We’ve all got each other here to get through it xx

Had a call today asking for info since last surgery, it’s going to the medical team for advice on DC condition, I just feel like crying. The lady was lovely but feel so worried. Scan 30th June

The stress is unreal and calling them just makes anxiety worse seems such fight to get what children deserve same with ehp process All this as aged me 10 years

Does anyone know how long wait is on phonecall at this time. I've only ever rung at 9am

Hi, same scan dates 27/7 and exactly the same text dates as you. Hoping 4 weeks left at the most, but who knows 🤷‍♀️

My scan date is 26/07 so super close hopefully we shod hear the same sort of time I had 1st text 02/10 then 2nd text 23/10. I'm such an impatient person in general I hate waiting for anything so this wait is torture and I dint hold any hopes of hearing anything next week on thr 15 weeks mark from what I've been reading from people still waiting in June, Il have more evidence to send on Thursday/Friday (EHCP) and have an app with paediatrician on the 16th Nov, I'm going to call on Monday just to ask if it's worth sending the extra evidence or if it's close to going to a DM just to find out how far away it is

17 weeks today. Currently on hold to see if any updates. They probably hate me as I've rung twice a week for last 2 weeks. The wait is driving me crazy 🤪 I'm not sure on the system as I've seen dates before and after me awarded which is making my nerves shot at. I know they prob don't have a decision but I can't rest without checking. Currently been on hold 47 mins 😴

Scan date 25/7 same scan date as the others..last test 23/10. Good luck everyone. Will update once it's nearer our time.

Hey everyone! First time posting been following thread for weeks now. Scan date 29/06 I’ve rang today spoke to a lovely lady she said it’s with a dm and decision should be made within a week and if I don’t hear anything by Wednesday next week to ring back. Don’t think I’ll wait that long 😂 so impatient now will give them a ring back on Friday. I did ask her to put on my file that I would like to receive a text once the decision is made. Seen few from the same date awarded and plenty still waiting. Now every time I receive a text I jump to my phone 😂 xx
