Hi everyone, found this thread a couple of weeks ago but first time posting. Congratulations to everyone who's received their awards 🎉 I've not rang but received a payment in my bank today and from what I can work out my DS has received MRC and LRM 🥰 I'm assuming he was awarded the end of last week as it takes 3-5 days to get in your account. I just thought I'd share my dates hoping it may help with others worries.

Rang for forms 31/5
Scan date 27/6
Evidence sent- latest consultant letter, neuropsychology report/assessment letter sent to consultant, copy of EHCP
First text 5/9
Second text 25/5
18 weeks today
We're in Yorkshire

I’ve plucked up the courage to call am on hold now 🙏 🙏

I’m worried I’ve not sent enough evidence, as school is crap. I’ve sent emails about his behaviour one plan, proof on Sen register and letter saying ehcp applied for. His asd diagnosis camhs acceptance letter and his referrals from the gps I don’t know what more I could sent.

Just pulling up a chair to wait with anyone around the same date as me and wishing every single one of you on here good luck with your claim. I found the form horrendous to fill in as I’ve spent so many cheers praising my son and championing him, only to have to write down the very worst traits in that soul destroying form x

I caved and I’m on hold 30 minutes in ! 😂 feel like this is a pointless call but hey ho! X

I’m Kent too but scan date 25/7 just wondering how many weeks you are at just to get a rough time of when mine might go to a DM? Thanks xx

@LGR004 I'm in hold too 32 mins in but back to work at 2pm, I doubt I will get through, please let me know how you get on!!

Hi @Shilli84 scan date 29/6 so will be 18 weeks Thursday, hopefully ours is with a DM now and they get through them quickly so that yours won't be so long xx

Hi just an update for anyone who’s scan date is around the 3rd July.

I just rang up today to see where mine was at as I sent off evidence yesterday and was worried I wouldn’t have got it in before it went to an DM! The man did say that it was still in a holding queue & he can’t tell me exactly when but it should be with a DM very soon 🙏🏻 xx

@Shilli84 hey scan date 29/06 and 18 weeks on Thursday , went to a DM yesterday morning , i mean people for July im hearing 19 week wait so I don’t think I could give you an accurate result but I’d assume anywhere between the 18-19 week realm for you! Hope the wait isn’t to long x

@LGR004 oh I know the feeling BUT at some point there will be a decision and this will all be like a bad dream, lol. We are sooo close now! And at this point I am so ready for a fight if its an initial decline. Every bit of stress I have felt these last months will go into it 😂

Wow I finally have a decision
was awarded yesterday HRC LM literally can not belive it I really thought I was going be declined all I sent was adhd diagnosis and school senco filled in little bit in there part.
I’ve cried the wait is finally over an my child’s needs are recognised.
